I bought my camera bag from Amazon. It's by Case Logic I paid like $30 I think? Its a great backpack but the place to hold the tripod isn't as sturdy as all the reviews mentioned. That's mainly why I bought it too. But it has a nice huge space to hold the camera. Plenty of room. Also little pockets to hold extra lenses. Right now i have none so I use the pockets to hold my wallet, etc. And i love the sling aspect of it. My mom has been trying to come up with a better way to hold the tripod on the back. We put more velcro on it, which did hold it but I kept worrying about it. Other than that it's great!

Monday November 26th-Magic Kingdom with a mini side trip to EPCOT

The first morning in Disney World is always one of the best feelings.

We were up around 7 and headed down to breakfast at the Sassougla Float Works! We did discover though that 7 am is a little too early for Oswald. He would just have to get used to it!

He needed his coffee!

Breakfast this morning was sharing a cheese omelette and a bagel! We had an early lunch on the agenda today!

Headed out on our way to the bus stop for the Magic Kingdom!

This sign made us very excited for the next day!

Looks like we made it to the Kingdom just in time for the morning show!

Once we were let in to the park we made a beeline to New Fantasyland!!! But not without stopping for pictures of course!

Oswald is so excited to be in the Magic Kingdom for the first time!

Finally heading into New Fantasyland for the first time!!!!!

On the first walk-through I just wanted to enjoy it, to soak it in what was about to happen. We walked by Enchanted Tales with Belle, by Gaston’s Tavern, and there it was in all it’s glory my number 2 new favorite ride (nothing ever beats my Tower) Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid. I have been waiting for a Little Mermaid ride FOREVER. And I even get Price Eric’s Castle!!! Does it get any better than that??? I don’t think so.

Our first ride of the day was indeed Under the Sea, and I was just blown away. I didn’t care that a lot of people said it was nothing special…but to me it was. It was a ride depicting my favorite Disney movie and it was the ride I rode the most this trip. I just couldn’t get enough of it. I LOVE IT!

Enough of me gushing over my new found love…it was time to start taking pictures again and meet Mermaid Ariel again!!!!! I asked the attendant outside where Eric was, and they said he was busy tending to his guests in the castle and wasn’t sure when he would be out today. Which of course it a very cute Disney answer but I really wanted a real answer this time lol. Doesn’t look like Eric will be making appearances anytime soon…that’s one thing I will miss when Ariel was in her human form…

As soon as you walked in you could see all the little details in the queue. I LOVE IT

I just couldn’t wait to get back on the The Journey of the Little Mermaid, but first some photopass pics!

Belle was just perfect

Overall, this experience was really really cute, but to wait 40 minutes for it? Absolutely not. I like how they involve the adults in the show which is really great, but I definitely felt it was more for the kiddos.
Lunch wasn’t for a little bit yet and a little drink was needed…how about some LeFou’s Brew!
So over to Gaston’s tavern we went!

With a stop in the bathroom of course…this sign is so cute!

Oh wait…there’s a new giftshop? Let’s go!

While here, this was the first place I saw a Park 9 vinylmation box, and it would be the only place I found one. The box was completely full too and out of the whole thing I pulled out the one I really wanted!

I was so excited to pull the Chaser!!!!! I am very proud of picking the chaser out of a full box, it was just meant to be!

Now it was finally time for lunch at the Whispering Canyon! Oswald was ready, but he was a little small in the chair.

So we found him a better spot instead.

For our drinks mom got a Pomegranate Lemonade and I had a famous strawberry shake!

The waiter felt Oswald was a little left out and he got a drink as well!

Our waiter here was just amazing. I really wish I had written down his name, but Oswald was a huge hit with him and the other servers in the restaurant. It was the first time they had seen him down in FL and they wanted to make sure it was a special trip for him!

For an appetizer we shared the Nacho plate with all the different dippings. It was really good!

For dinner we shared the AMAZING Fish and Chips with sweet potato fries. Everything was sooo good. Also, they had recently brought back that family platter dish that they had taken off the menu. That was tempting to try, but we passed.

Of course one of the most amazing things that could ever happen was we asked for ketchup…..and you guessed it…we got 18 BOTTLES!

Oswald was even a little bit overwhelmed with all the bottles of ketchup!

But no soon after we asked for it, we had to bring it over to someone else who needed it! I love this restaurant and would come back here in a heartbeat. They interact so well with guests and its so funny to watch everyone else’s experience. But we couldn’t forget the most important part of the meal…DESSERT!

After all our tummies were full…including Oswald..look he drank all his drink!

We took a quick monorail ride to EPCOT for Mom to go look for a specific ornament she was looking for.

Peach took us over to the T&TC

And blue was our ride to EPCOT!

A little bit of Christmas for ya!

A little photoshoot of SSE (for @plaz10) Don’t worry there is plenty more to come when we go back later in the week!

So we travelled just about everywhere looking for this ornament…first stop was Mouse Gears

Even though we didn’t find the ornament here, I did give a chance to the Classic Vinylmation (got Pluto!) and we found Alex & Ani Silver Cinderella Castle bracelets! Yay!!!

Next was the Art of Disney. (Where they had this awesome Castle display!)

And lastly for the day was guest services (love the carpet in here!) to see if they knew where it was…but of course they didn’t and we didn’t want to walk all the way to World Showcase so we will check later in the week.

It was back to the monorail station for EMH at the Magic Kingdom! See ya later EPCOT!

Hello Christmas decorations at the Magic Kingdom!

We headed on up to the Train Station for a short trip to Frontierland!

Here I grabbed a fastpass for Big Thunder and Splash Mountain because the waits were just a little too long for my liking, but luckily the fastpass times were only about 30 min-1 hour away so we headed on into Adventureland!

Time to visit our favorite singing birdies!

We saw this beautiful moon over the castle after our sing-a-long!

I bet now you can guess what time it was for!

As you can see from our picture this was one of Oswald’s favorite rides!!!!!

Big Thunder Mountain was Oswald’s next big obstacle

But he was excited with his fastpass in hand!

Since it was almost time for the Castle Dreamlights to come on we headed on towards the hub and decided to watch from the Liberty Square bridge because it was pretty packed at the hub!

Just can’t get enough of this beauty….

After oooing and ahhhing over the beautiful Dreamlights we had to go pay our ghost host a visit over at the Haunted Mansion.

Oswald was a little shaken still from seeing ghosts, but happy it was over with.

We were a bit hungry at this point so we headed on over to one of our favorite quick services in the Kingdom…Columbia Harbor House! We shared a nice chicken basket with fries while overlooking the new Rapunzel Bathroom area.

Oswald loved this spot for people watching

We started making our way through Fantasyland and made a pit stop for some honey

And went for a nighttime spin on Dumbo!

I just can’t get over the colors on Dumbo at night…its beautiful

Since we didn’t get a chance to see Donald and Goofy at Pete’s silly side show earlier in the day we made a stop now to see our friends.

When we were making our way out of Storybook Circus I got asked to perform the most daring circus act ever….WALKING A TIGHT ROPE!

I was a little nervous at first. I really didn’t want to fall

Phew! I made it! I didn’t think I would!!!!

I had so much fun doing this. The CMs in this area were great and I loved interacting with them. It’s the little things J

The fireworks were going on and we kept on walking to Tomorrowland and Space Mountain didn’t have a wait!

Oswald had a lot of fun!!!

Here I have to say something negative about the Magic Kingdom….I think Tomorrowland is in desperate need of an update. It used to be my favorite part of the Kingdom, but now I think it’s just lacking something. What I have no idea. When I think of it I’ll let you know. It just feels like Yesterdayland to me. Oh well, I still like the neon lights!

Since we were in Tomorrowland now, you know what we had to ride of course right?

Oswald loved it! Nice and relaxing since he had had a very very busy first full day!

We headed out of Tomorrowland and onto the bridge where we just had to stop for a photopass pic!

We were a bit undecided on what to do and the night was still young so I suggested another spin on The Journey of the Little Mermaid! This was what…the 4th time today?

This will be pretty cool when it opens! I do have to admit though..I missed Snow White….

Our Jungle Cruise skipper (Kailey?) was really funny tonight! It was a grand and cheesy ol’ time!

At this point we decided to make our way out of the park, but not without a few pictures first!

We got back to French Quarter at around 11, which in my opinion isn’t bad by Disney standards! And we also had this guy holding onto our toothbrushes!

Throughout this day I got sooo many comments from CMs and other guests about Oswald. A lot of them asked where I got him from and if they sold him in Walt Disney World. I was excited to have something a lot of people hadn’t seen!!! (btw you can easily get it on disneystore.com, I got it at the Disney Store).

I couldn’t believe our first day at Disney had come to a close, but we couldn’t wait to see what the rest of the week had in store for us!
