Good little series. My only critique so far is thinking The Mandalorian could use a sidekick or companion so his broody introvert persona doesn't become stale, or one-note.
The actor is killing me because he's acting without using his face. Pretty cool body language, especially as it's all covered in pieces of armor and weird cloth.
I think right now , he has a sidekick, though small and green and can't walk too far. BY is a little Sancho Panza.

True. It's not missed right now but I think in time he'll need support staff to make his character and character arc more complete. The acting is pretty good considering how difficult it must be to emote.

Is it too much to ask that we get a new live action Star Wars every Friday once they get the production machine going? 💰

Finally had the chance to jump in. I'm actually kind of surprised I've liked it as much as I have. All my friends pitched it to me as closest to Rogue One and it's a well known fact amongst them that kind of hate Rogue One. (Yeah I know, I'm the weirdo here.) It's better than I expected, but I'm not totally sold yet.

I love the films but I am even more in love with this Series already.

its gritty and the makes the world feel more lived in outside of the main films.

only thing I would have liked is an idea on what the planets are being visited in the show. Episode 2 certainly wasn’t Tatooine.

I sense that when they next trilogy of films start, like marvel they’ll make the series in alongside the films to flesh the stories out more.

edit. Also this show has shown me something. I like the movies under Disney but I think people are polarised on them. I feel The Mandalorian proved that Disney can make an incredible Star Wars product when perhaps they aren’t tied to the legacy of the previous 6 films?

Its giving me a lot more re-assurance when it comes to the next trilogy of films
