Tcool's Thoughts

Shows -
- Glad to see the lagoon show is returning - hopefully this time if there is a hurricane the tech won't get wrecked.
- Personally I'm not a Nightmare Fuel stan - too many bad memories from HHN30, but hopefully one day they create a whole concept for that stage.

Houses -
- B) If a Phantom/Dracula House comes to fruition that has potential for a beautifully opulent house - while I would've loved for a Creature house if we got Phantom/Dracula I wouldn't complain as one of the two is a curveball.
- C) I guess I should start watching Last of Us - not only if the speculation is true, but just because everyone else is watching it as well. Perhaps this will be what gets me going. Assuming they go for this IP they'll have to work with Sony AND Warner Brothers (if they go with the hit TV series) in order to bring this house to HHN this year. If it's anything like last year we could see it getting scrapped due to licensing arguments.
- D) Christmas is my favorite holiday, HHN is my favorite time of the year at Universal - if it is indeed an original take on the mythos of Krampus then I'm all for it. That said if it is tied to the film, no sleep lost either as I never did the OG Krampus house from all those years ago.
- E) The anchor could mean a sequel to Dead Man's Pier from last year - would make sense given how beloved it was. Would also help save costs if they were able to repurpose more of that set as well. Could be a Stranger Things reference via Scoops Ahoy, and given the last time ST was at HHN it focus mainly on S2 - I could see it.
- F) M3GAN and Insidious is an interesting combo however it does make sense as both films are Blumhouse Productions that are from this year. Blumhouse being utilized as a combo house like last year could be a response to how widely popular the Black Phone/Freaky house was last year.
- G & H) Apparently these are sequels/spinoffs to past scare zones and houses? Okay sure no comments from me here lol.
- I) Seems like another music themed house to follow off of the success of the Weekend. The guitar makes me think rock and the bolt of lighting makes me think of KISS given their makeup often utilizes that symbol. Bowie also is associated with lighting, but I'm not sure if his vibes fit in HHN - neither did Weekend though so who knows.
- J) I don't know what this is
J looks like it might be about Japanese folklore. It could be interesting. I’m all for Japanese horror at HHN. It’s a pretty specific and recognizable sub genre, and could make for some really cool, really messed up set pieces.

Awesome, I was hoping they'd do The Last Us. So hopefully that part of the rumors are all true. The rest though leaves a lot to be desired. It doesn't seem like there is enough big names on the docket.

Would have loved to see them do another Halloween (6, 7, 8) or the Rob Zombie version. There's also The Addams Family, Scream, Megan, Stephen King (like IT), The Night of the Living Dead series, Hellraiser, Psycho, They Live, Jeepers Creepers, Monster Squad and Leprechaun.

I did not have finding out opera is being made more accessible to the common person than Broadway is making any effort to do on my 2023 bingo card but 100% free legal streams and pro shots from some of the most well-regarded companies in the world are available on operavision.eu so you know... enjoy that.

How else are they going to know which direction to take the company? This seems like a practical, measured response for a company in flux to finally figure out how to get back o no track.

Nothing says "I'm going back to keeping it classic" like Walt Disney himself.

What good are any of these when the company just fired 7,000 employees, is still on a hiring freeze, and the competition down the road in Orlando is not only looking to hire but also just raised hourly wages*?
*It’s not effective immediately, but starting on June 4th of this year minimum wages are expected to increase to $17. I should also specify that the openings on their job offers are 2,500, so while it’s not close to half the number of Disney employees who were let go, the fact that there are that many positions on offer is telling as to where their priorities are.

It's a hot mess. Why there's a stall in contract when backpay is inevitable is wild to me 🤷‍♀️

Recently got an iPad and pencil. Started working on a new ToonTown draw up but I keep getting distracted 😂

Nice! I've heard good things about Procreate on there for art software.

I thought this would be the best place for me to put my rankings for Disneyland attractions. I must have prematurely deleted one attraction as I only have 61 attractions ranked. The ones below, though, are ones that I haven't ridden (with the ones I would be most interested in riding first). I haven't been to Disneyland Resort since 2008.

50Rise of the Resistance
51Radiator Springs Racers
52Guardians of the Galaxy—Mission: Breakout
53The Haunted Mansion--Halloween Edition
54Monsters Inc. Mike and Sully to the Rescue
55Golden Horseshoe Saloon
56Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind
57Mater's Junkyard Jamboree
58Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters
59Red Car Trolley
60Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes
61Main Street Vehicles

For anyone who hasn't been exploring the recently created threads, I wanted to share a teaser for something I'm planning for the summer.

I'll be dropping teasers throughout the next couple weeks before an official reveal, so keep your eyes on this thread and prepare to enter Dark PerGron's Manor of Mysteries.

Hey guys, have you seen the Damon Pressman's portfolio (one of the Imagineers involved in the Mary Poppins ride)? If you haven't seen it, it's worth checking the link out.
