Been binging the Magic of Disney's Animal Kingdom season 2 all day. Highly recommend. If I wouldn't be taking a huge step back going from 2nd in command to lowest keeper on the totem pole, DAK would be my dream job.

I wonder if the imagineers forum is planning a new competition to celebrate Disney 100? The current season isn’t bad just thought it was a missed opportunity.

I know it’s too early to say how good this or Epic Universe will be but compared to Disney’s (undoubtedly expensive) Storyliving community and the pitch meetings that was last year’s D23 Expo, Universal definitely has a lot more going on that’s worth being excited about.

Absolutely. Whether this is a swing/miss by Uni or not, I love that there's competition and some real juice on their end. Competition between the two is good for us (hopefully).

Speaking of EU, this doesn't look nearly on the scale of what they are doing there thematically (though it is just concept art) but a bit surprised if they had this in the works, they didn't try and incorporate one or two of these ideas into EU (particularly Shrek and Trolls) and save on the design cost. The park could use a few more no/low height requirement attractions but imagine they have bigger ideas for those expansion pads down the line.

Whoa that's awesome!

Judging from the logo and clouds it looks like a Dreamworks park. With what definitely looks like a Trolls section on the right side.

KidZone replacement was promised to utilize favorite animated characters. Wouldn’t put it past them to utilize Shrek, Madagascar, and Trolls there.

The Camp Cretaceous area could be useful if they ever decide to redo Camp Jurassic at IOA.

Really surprised to hear that it's Universal building a new park. I was pretty convinced it was Cedar Fair. A boutique Universal park is an interesting experiment and I'm excited to see how it pans out. Universal has (mostly) been on a roll so I'm sure it'll be great.

I'm not sure if anything's been announced, but the concept art seems to suggest Jurassic Park and Trolls. And maybe Shrek (or Puss in Boots?,) but it's hard to tell.

I think the Caretaker is next to Chance as well, looks like scissors in his hands. As well well as longer hair, and a coat that seems like his outfit
The pose looks off for it to be Caretaker though. Looking closer at the concept art makes me second-guess Chance as well. The hair looks more like horns. Could we maybe get a duo of new icons? There have been some whispers of 30 being intended as the final bow for Jack. Could this be the moment that the torch is passed along?
