I want to preface this by saying I think both teams did a really good job with this challenge. I know parades aren't often seen, and honestly I think the last time I last saw one was back in 2015 during the Elite Eight. So I guess that means we met our quota for this five years, and our next parade prompt will be in 2026? (I'm probably missing a parade prompt from 2015 to 2021 but still they're very few). I hope that the following challenges will be easier to work on as a team. Speaking of teams lets find out who the winners are this round!

The winners for this round are...

Team Imaginators with Fantasia in Bloom! Their unique approach to parade materials alongside the tie to California and Disney infused magic snagged them the win.

This means that the losers are unfortunately...

The losers for this round are...

Team Innovators. I'm sorry to tell you this as you guys as a team did some great work, and y'all lived up to your team name. The parade was very innovative from the day to night function to the story involving the Citizens of Hollywood they were all solid ideas, but just needed a bit more tweaking to get the parade just right. Don't let this lost discourage y'all I do think this was some great work, and I'm sure the guest judges will agree when I say great job! Parades aren't easy by any means, and you should all still be proud of your work.

The Bottom Three

The Chief Imagineer from the losing team messaged me a while ago with their bottom three. This bottom three includes the following choices of :

What does this mean? Well members of the winning team you guys can relax until the next challenge as the optional challenge wouldn't really apply for y'all given that you are all safe. However to those in the losing team you have until Friday, September 10th at 11:59 PM EST to get your votes in. The sooner everyone votes the faster we can move onto the next challenge. For those interested in the optional immunity challenge the due date remains at 10 PM EST on the 10th as well, and like I said is completely optional to do.

Please note that reviews from @mickeyfan5534 , @Outbound and @Disney Warrior are still being written. However the results will be posted momentarily as they are guest judges providing for more feedback for the teams.
I literally haven’t even started doing reviews yet. they will most likely be posted on this afternoon once I have more time. They will not be to the same scale as tcool’s, though (probably much shorter.)

Disney Warrior’s Guest Reviews!

You know what time it is! 4:02 PM EST (at the time i’m writing this)! No, wait, actually, it’s review time!

Team Imaginators:
- To start off, I really like the idea of a rose parade for DCA, loving the logo too!

- You said that the WOC fountains would turn on at 5 PM. (please correct me if I’m wrong, I don’t live in Cali) it’s still daytime at 5 PM in RI (at least in fall, spring and summer). Just a minor nitpick.
- Loving the usage of Fantasia here! I think it’s @D Hulk ’s favorite film, if my memory serves me correctly.
- I love how even minor details, such as upkeep and parade logistics are mentioned here! Adds at lot to this presentation!
- Great concept art Hulk (or @MickeyWaffleCo. , don’t quite exactly remember who did what)!
- I love how every part of the film is represented here!
(Also I heard there was music, but I didn’t get to hear it since I’m on mobile and don’t have a pc)

Team Innovators
- Really like how there’s no major IP shoehorned in. It really gives this parade a sense of originality.
- Clever name!
- Who wrote the song? It’s great and very unique!
- Although you guys used mostly stock images as opposed to mostly drawings, I still think they get the job done, but I think that there should’ve been captions so we know what they’re for.
- Oh god, there are IPs! At least they fit well, though.

- Great job @Disney Dad 3000 on that Indiana Jones float! Looks pretty cool.
- @PerGron that Star Wars drawing is better quality than anything I can draw lol

- I’m not sure how I feel about the appearance of Roger Rabbit in the finale. He doesn’t have an attraction in the resort, and I think he might be a bit obscure to some average guests that view the parade.

Anyways, I think both teams did well this challenge, and you guys should give yourselves a pat on the back. Good luck with Round 2 guys!

Team Innovators, I'll offer just a little feedback on your parade. It was pretty ambitious of you to bring together a diverse group of movie genres into one parade and to add a couple of new characters to link it together. I think it could work as a parade, but it almost has more of a show vibe to it (sort of like the former CineMagique at Walt Disney Studios Paris), especially the opening number. I think you were fine with the details, and it would be a worthwhile parade to see. However, it's just tough to make something "eclectic" tell a story that is super cohesive.

And now that you have Ace Victory on your team, may your team next round--with Guest Judge Ace--be led to victory! You'll be set for Challenge 2 now that you have your sea legs!

Yep, that’s intentional. The fountains would come on early without any artificial lights or colors while it’s still light outside.
