Not bad, but I know I could've done better...I just blanked out when I got up there and finished too quick. My last teach is 17 minutes (as opposed to 7 minutes for all the other ones) and I'm going to do it on Pride and Prejudice At least I don't have to worry about it for like 3 weeks
Now I gotta go finish two assignments that I have to send to my professor before midnightand tomorrow I have a quiz in educational psychology. Fun, fun, fun!
I know what you mean :sigh:...I love that novel as much as you do. I have never "aww'ed" so much while reading a novelstranger said:Pride & Prejudice is one of my favorite books and easily Jane Austin’s best. I’ve read that book at least 6-7 times and I still get caught up in if Darcy and Elizabeth will end up together.
I even own the A & E version of the movie and watched all 6 hours of it. Won’t be able to that again, but it didn’t hurt having Colin Firth play Mr. Darcy.

I have that movie as well and I've been able to sit through it once. Every other time I've watched it has been in pieces

 I didn't read that. I actually read Sense and Sensibility for my 19th century Europe class last semester and enjoyed it. Very similar to Pride and Prejudice but to me not as good.stranger said:The Darcy pieces :slurp:
Another one of Austin books that I adore is Persuasion. Captain Wenworth's letter actually made me cryNot that I would ever want a Captain Wenworth, for some reason he drove me up the wall, but that letter of his was good, real good.

Have you read Dan Brown, Sue Grafton, or Agatha Christie? They're all very different kinds of mystery books, but all equally entertaining![]()
stranger said:You mean read books in general or Jane Austin books?
speck76 said:books in general
I have read some books, but nothing I want to admit to here (no....not ....nobody READS )

When I got into reading "for fun" I just tested out a few books and realized I love mysteries. The few exceptions are classic literature I've been exposed to in class, but I love the authors I mentioned. I think with mysteries you can never go wrong because it's a "whodunnit" and you get hooked and want to know who "did it."
