For @brb1006

Your task is to design a new daytime parade for the Magic Kingdom to celebrate Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

When is this due?

Here's my part 2 and final for my idea for WDW's 50th Anniversary Parade. Another new element for the parade is also in the style of the Flights Of Fantasy Parade from 1983 at Disneyland.

The opening float will start with Mickey standing on top of a giant book based on the scene from Fantasia while the rest of the float is mostly themed after water and right behind him features the brooms from Fantasia. Similar to the floats seen in the Flights Of Fantasy Parade from 1983.

Another float can feature Mr Toad (Which marks the first time the character has ever been seen at any Disney park) sitting in his car which is followed by a few characters from The Wind And The Willows.

The final float will feature a cast of Disney characters including Mickey & Friends,Clarice, and other Disney characters you hardly seen in WDW besides the foreign ones.

The champions (@MonorailRed @Voxel @spacemt354) must keep their proposals to 5 sentences, 1 video, and 2 images.

Let's hope that Krum doesn't get bewitched this time and the Cup isn't a Portkey

Inception - Dream Within A Dream Maze

Harking back to my first ever post on the Imagineer forum ...
http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/inception-attraction-at-epcot.840642/

...after striking a deal with Warner Bros and Disney to allow a WB property into a Disney Park, an Inception Maze was constructed based on the classic 2010 film. (will that ever happen, no but where is the fun in that?)
dbdc31bc22da553bd24455149b85f2ce.jpg

The maze is situated in the old Captain EO building in the Imagination Pavilion. You meet Yusef who gives you a sedative and you walk through the corridors into the maze (dream) and have to travel through 3 dream levels to complete the maze. Several 4D effects and projection screens surround the maze as you traverse through, including wind, air, bwwwong sounds, and projection screens in the second dream level that make you feel like you're tumbling around (such like the hallway scene from the film)

Overall, as you approach the end of the maze, you hear "the kick song" Non, Je Ne Regrette Rein, playing in the background as you escape the maze and are "kicked" back to Future World.

A intelligent mix of the Imagination Work and Maze design, provides family friendly small escape the room problems that utilize childhood wonder and creativity to navigate.

@spacemt354 - Yes, you love Inception, we all get it. I do think this could be a spectacular maze, though the rights issue will bring the realism factor down a peg

@Voxel - Ah, my favorite film of 2015. Inside Out is a great choice, however I think you have even stated, your other two submissions are better. Also there's no *sniff* *sniff* Bing Bong? :cry:

@MonorailRed - Seems like you are lost in the maze :p Fear not! You still have 8.5 hours to go...however @Voxel is dangerously close to the Tri-Wizard Cup!

My Disney Parade would be based on a Disney Afternoon theme.

The first float would be of the Gummi Bears since they basically gave birth to the new high quality animation that led to the invention of the Disney Afternoon. Their float would have them dancing around Gummi Glen making Gummi Juice.

The second float would be a Ducktales themed float with Uncle Scrooge's Money Bin as the center piece and populated by a lot of the citizens of Duckburg and maybe even led by Gizmo Duck.

The third float would be a Rescue Rangers float with Chip and Dale and the gang going about to crack their next case.

The fourth float would be a Tail Spin float with Baloo and the gang and maybe even have a crashed plane of Launchpad's on it.

The fifth would be a Darkwing Duck float.

All the floats would have the iconic theme music from each show blaring. I know this might not appeal to many people but for me as an 80's kid this would be the coolest thing in existence. LOL!

Year Four: The Beginning
orig-11972321.jpg

On the final day of Year Four in The House Cup, it is fitting that the final chapter title of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is called "The Beginning."

As Year Four comes to a close, we will be having new "students" and "observers" joining us into Year Five and beyond!

Please give a warm welcome the newest members of The House Cup:
@GrandCanyonConcourse
@Crazydisneyfanluke
@Steel City Magic
@FigmentPigments
@OvertheHorizon
@fox_198
@Ranky64
@orlando678-
@DuckTalesWooHoo1987
@mimitchi33

These members will be sorted into their Houses and their House Common Room PMs, where they will meet their teams, until Year Five (tomorrow) when they can contribute going forward!

But wait! There's more!

We are also going to have some observing members as well. These members will be included in the team Brainstorming PMs to observe how the creative process works. They are new to the armchair imagineering community and want to view how everything works before entering the fray, and we are pleased to have them try it out with The House Cup!

Please welcome @tirian @sxeensweet @ThemeParkJunkee And @P_Radden as observers!

That is all! Good Luck Houses with your Year Four projects (due tonight at 11:59 PM EST) and welcome again to all our new members!:)
