YEAR 4 - The Tri-Wizard Tournament - The First Task Representing Beauxbatons - MonorailRed
"The First Task will be to replace Dragon Challenge at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, with another experience. It can be anything."
Replacing Dragon Challenge’s theming and thrill aspect is a tough attraction to replace, though, my solution to bring Universal to the highest possible theming and interactive we’ve seen; it brings tricks from everything Universal has brought to us over the years, such as Halloween Mazes, Poseidon’s Fury, Disaster, and 4D Effects: Tri-Wizard Tournament: The Experience.
Guests will enter a tent through a similar to the one from the Dragon event in the movie, from there, they will be split into halls of tents depending on what school they would rather play for: Durmstrang, Hogwarts, or Beauxbatons. From there, guests will be given interactive wands to use to battle 4D Dragons, Learn spells to help them conquer the black lake (simulators), work with Harry through the 4D maze, help battle Deathearters in the Graveyard, and return back to Hogwarts in one piece.
This attraction will not only please executives for the high tech wand endorsement, but also the hardcore Potter-fans, and also those who crave adventure that the series is known for.
All in all, this attraction will be the most technological advanced, interactive, and exploratory aspect in Islands of Adventure.
The Second Task will be to design a water based attraction for any Disney park around the world. It can be anything, just as long as it revolves around water.
Also Gillyweed is allowed to be used.
The Tri-Wizard contestants (@Voxel@MonorailRed@spacemt354) must keep their projects to 5 sentences, 1 video, and 2 images.
The Second Task will be due Saturday June 4th at 11:59 PM EST
Your task is to design a new daytime parade for the Magic Kingdom to celebrate Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary! Can't wait to see what you come up with!
@Angels and Disney's started off strong working towards my love of all things Mediterranean (Classical Studies Major over here), I found the idea of a rotational menu brilliant but also a down side. Overall great work 4 out of 5. However despite strong defense @kmbmw777 rallied with even stronger offensive and creative imagination. I believe you built the true Epcot experience in food and I love the imagination dining hall. 5 out of 5.
Such a great game, however I have to award the game to @kmbmw777 of Italy/Hufflepuff.
Stay tune more results coming in soon.
(If people want more detailed reviews pease ask, I'm trying to keep these like a sports recap)
For are next match we have @IAmNotAHufflepuff (BACK IN THE USSR) vs @mickeyfan5534 (SLOVAKIA, Where is that by the way @spacemt354)
Russia starts strongly with an beautiful gif to distract the opponent, and finishes with a beautiful sing-song ride that makes you forget the atrocities committed by their nation . Prepared for the strong arm of the USSR, the recently freed Slovakia rip for revenge pulls out Enchanted, one of the under appreciated Disney films. While provided a wonderful attraction fit for all families Slovakia was no prepared for the aggressive Russian Offensive, lets hope their army isn't the same.
For a penultimate match we have @tcool123 (Lovely Cuba) vs @Flippin'Flounder (Japan) in a competition that might rival both countries love of Baseball.
Off the bat, Cuba strikes hard with a Up theme balloon ride with theming to rival WDW's new Dumbo attraction. Well done with a strong hit, but can Japan come back from such a strong play. Japan thinking along the similar lines pull Bambi from the line up but is it enough to defeat Carl and Doug? While Bambi is cute, the cultural reference of the newly reunited CUBA takes the win.
The Final Match up the week consisted of @RMichael21 (as the Great Country of America) and @DSquared representing the new home of many American come 2017.
In this line up, we should expect some interesting work, esp with the challenge redo Test track. Let's see how they did:
America starts off strong, returning to some of the epicness that existed with the original Test track. As the elements turn in their direction will the twisters have enough gust to blow away then ever polite Canadians. And it seems the Polite canadian never stepped on the field, I guess that gives the win to America.. Can they be stopped? Who knows.
Thank you for listening in to the Voxel Sportscast.
YEAR 4 - The Tri-Wizard Tournament - The Second Task Representing Beauxbatons - MonorailRed
"The Second Task will be to design a water based attraction for any Disney park around the world. It can be anything, just as long as it revolves around water."
With the probable success of Roaring Rapids at Shanghai Disneyland, I decided that my project for the second task would involve adding in a new, sister attraction to Hong Kong Disneyland replacing the Festival of the Lion King to be named Pride Rock Rapids:The Journey of Simba.
Follow Simba through the "Circle of Life" traveling down Pride Rock rapids on a driftwood/leaf vehicle, experiencing all the big musical numbers and scenes from the movie, with some being outdoor, and others being housed inside a giant show building.
This attraction not only includes a thrill aspect for guests, but the most sophisticated waterproof AAs to be constructed. The queue will be interactive, trying to follow Rafiki to the Rapids, where he constructed a vehicle for us to follow The Lion King.
This attraction adds the water-based fun that Hong Kong guests have proven to enjoy from other attractions, while also adding more capacity than the show of the same theme.
YEAR 4 - The Tri-Wizard Tournament - The Second Task Representing Durmstrang - Voxel
"The Second Task will be to design a water based attraction for any Disney park around the world. It can be anything, just as long as it revolves around water."
In some earliest iterations of Process City (EPCOT), Walt Disney intended to provide guided tours of the Everglades; now in partnership with the State of Florida, Animal Kingdom proudly presents the Danger Zone.
This high speed water attraction will not only take guest on the ride of their life but will showcase the importance of conservation in the Everglades.
Found in the recently built America section of Animal Kingdom, guest will walk through the Everglades on a deck where they will meet up with a local tour guide who will place them in their boat and start the Journey through the Everglades.
Through out their, guest will see both live and animatronic version of the wildlife when the call comes over the radio from the EPA asking guest for their help saving the Everglades from a group of Ecoterrorist threatening to destroy an oil pipeline.
Guest will race against time, narrowing passing trees and gators as they try to save the day and prevent the Everglades from being contaminated by ecoterrorist.

Colors of the Wind - Pocahontas River Adventure
Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon, or asked a grinning bobcat why he grins? Now you can on this musical boat tour through the tales of Disney's Pocahontas, coming to the junction of Liberty Square and Fantasyland in 2020 for the 25th anniversary of the film.
With Gryffindor's Fantasyland expansion in Year 1 removing it's a small world and changing the back left corner of Fantasyland, the transition to a Northern American Frontier can now follow the Magic Kingdom "story-line" of settlers from Europe (Fantasyland) crossing the Atlantic Ocean to the "New World" (Liberty Square)
The New World encapsulated with the magic of Pocahontas, as you sail through Jamestown and the Virginia Banks to the musical score of songs such as "Steady as the Beating Drum", "Just Around the Riverbend", "Savages", and of course the famous "Colors of the Wind" (a musical symphony that is worked in the background throughout the scene transitions, building to its number during the epic finale)
Overall, this attraction will bring added capacity to the most attended theme park in the world, and bring life to one of Disney's most beloved animated classics for its anniversary and in case you haven't heard it in a while, here's a sample:
@MonorailRed - a great attraction but I'm tired of international parks getting all the fun attractions...even in armchair imagineering WDW gets the short end of the stick
@Voxel - hard to compete against this concept however I wish this was set in somewhere other than a place I can drive to in person in 3 hours to visit. What about a South America section?! or Australian Crocs?
@spacemt354 - It seems like you threw this together at the last minute, though I do think Pocahontas deserves more of a presence in the parks. Alas Elsa and her powers seem to have stopped hope for that.

The Third Task is coming up soon - for all the marbles and the Tri-Wizard Cup!
Ladies and Gentlemen I present you the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Parade!
This parade combines the elements used for the Share A Dream Come True Parade, Parade Of Dreams at Disneyland, and Happiness Is Here at Tokyo Disneyland when it comes to the floats. This parade will also features some representation of Disney characters from starting from 1963 (The Sword And The Stone) to the late 1970's (The Rescuers) who hardly get any present in Walt Disney World for a long time. This parade will also contain a show-stop which Share A Dream Come True Parade had from 2001-2003 where guests are invited to dance with some of the characters and performers.
List of floats with snow globes
The Aristocats:
The first float "Everybody Wants To Be A Cat" features The Scat Cats who make there return to WDW since there last appearance in the early 80's. A live Jazz band can be seen marching in front of the float.
The second float is based on the first scene from the film. The bottom part is based on French architecture with Toulouse and Berlioz standing on the side with Duchess while a giant basket that Duchess and her kittens sleep in will contain a snowglobe where Marie is inside and can be heard talking to guests and even heard singing. Roquerfort can be seen standing on top of the glass globe. This float is also similar to the float from the Happiness Is Here parade.
The Sword In The Stone:
This float features Merlin inside his own snowglobe and can be seen using his magic wand to cast a certain effect on the float and a few wizards can be seen surrounding the float.
This idea isn't done yet, but help is always allowed. Be sure to contact me just in case you got a better idea for this.
