For the past several presidential elections people have presupposed that Disney will do something different with the HoP.

And other than changing what the current president says (oath of office, short speech), it remains the same.

There's no reason to think otherwise this time around.

Unless the current president again wants to insist on his own wording which Disney deems unsuitable for the attraction. Then, look for it to be closed for the next four years. But, that's not a likely scenario.

Someone lost the old sign is the most likely reason lol.

what could feasibly be done with this space that would generate a need for an LL?
Trying to look at the buildings actual layout is kinda hard since it seems to share space with Phillhar + Peter Pan but I think a new C-ticket Dark ride could be put there with a little reconfiguring. Could put something definitely Mr. Toad style atleast for the kiddos to better appreciate the area. Muppets or Sleepy Hollow would be fun there but may not be huge turns on investment but I could imagine maybe something themed to Hamilton (not a ride though, I would keep it as a show)

The Hall Of Presidents is a classic and really should be preserved.... I would love it to stay in the Magic Kingdom forever...but losing the ROA and TSI shows that they are moving away from the park the MK was and into a sloppy nonsensical mess of intermingled IP... The Disney theme park plan and style seems to be going away with the company's newer management style....sadly.

Todays Walt Disney company does not care about Walt's vision, not for a long time.

All the changes that will be happening is because of MONEY.

TWDC wants all attractions to SELL THE MAXIMUM LLs AS POSSIBLE.

It is no longer about theme, emersion, beauty, atmosphere - ITS ONLY ABOUT MONEY!

I just can't see this going away, as much as I think the Muppets would be a no-brainer fix if they wanted to modernise it, removing HoP is going to be controversial at any time. When/if it's announced to be removed, there will absolutely be a "hmmm I wonder if it has anything to do with the current POTUS" discourse. Hell, we were verging on that topic with a slightly differently-worded sign.

If they were to remove HOP or change the focus from the current POTUS the simple solution is to announce it now.

In which case they wouldn't be intentionally shutting out the current POTUS and they don't know who the next will be so there wouldn't be any bias at play.

Hence why if they do decide to change it, they announce it before the next election. Come out at D23 in 2026 and tell everyone to get their last visit in through 2027 and close it early 2028. We will be getting a new President later that year no matter what so with them announcing it early and before the election, no one side can claim any sort of legit bias.

Does Disney even try to sell HOP merch? I mean, if they did, I’d certainly buy that.
