I believe you posted the following earlier on this thread:
If your wife really did throw her meal into the trash and storm off, promising never to return to WDW, then I apologize for misinterpreting this post, which I interpreted as being sarcastic. Sarcasm is defined as:
I was raised to believe sarcasm is disrespectful. If your earlier post was intended to be sarcastic, then it insulted people who appreciated Disney's customized napkins, including my children who really liked them. If your earlier post was not intended to be sarcastic, then I am sorry for having misinterpreted your post.
- harsh or bitter derision or irony.
- a sharply ironical taunt; sneering or cutting remark: a review full of sarcasms.
Plain silk?I heard recently that Victoria and Alberts were using plain napkins too.......
Yep. No printing.Plain silk?
I bet they are satin not silk. Cheap skates.
Or repurposed burlap. You guys are all wrong. I bet its cotton with a very low thread count.![]()
I don't know. It's been a while since I've eaten there and they didn't have them when I did, but I assumed they had added them since they were so important to memory making.
Do you know why they are brown? They are recycled paper...think about it.You all can belittle it all day (my skin is thick), but I liked the old napkins. I liked that they were themed to locations and holidays sometimes.
I also liked that they worked well and were absorbent. These brown napkins really suck.
I also see the whole napkin issue as indicative of a company that is trying to find out how little they can offer up before people just stop coming to the parks.
Disney's Friends For Change don't care about memories.....Do you know why they are brown? They are recycled paper...think about it.

Perhaps they are printed....with brown ink.You can still print on brown napkins....If you wanted to.
