Getting ready for my 8am class, with 2 more after it!

Morning, everyone! It's a bit "fallish" here today; 65 degrees.
Typical Florida morning; another gator in the carpool line. :lol:
Seriously, one of the parents owns an exterminating company, and had an approximately 8-10 foot gator trussed and tied in the back of his pick-up. He parked at the front of the line so the kids could look at it...an administrator was standing there to keep order, and to keep anyone from getting too close. The other day, he had a head only. :hurl: Only in Florida! :lol: (The school is almost next to the I-95 bridge in Jacksonville, so it's not like we're out in the sticks! :lol: )
I need more coffee!

Show and tell so early in the morning!
All we get to look at are the deer tied to the front, roof and backs of cars during hunting season. (we watch them walk around the yard all year. :lol: No bear sightings yet, but the turkeys are out and about).

Happy last day of September! Dropped to 48 this a.m. Still saw kids waiting for the bus wearing t-shirts and shorts while shivvering. 
*gulps coffee and bites into fat-free blueberry muffin*

If I left Lil'mermaid to her own devices she would still be sleeping.
Just put the last one on the bus. My DH is still sleeping; got mandated to stay till 2am...made it to bed by 3.:snore:
No way he could make it back by 9...taking a few hours personal time to catch up on some Zzzzzzzs.

Since I stopped baking cookies, I just don't get any respect around here anymore. :lol:
Just got back from sending my 10 year old off on a 3 day field trip. I guess I'll get a taste of empty nest syndrome. Good thing I have my mother to look after.

EEK! It's almost 11 a.m. EDT and I'm just now able to sit down and check in here. Mallory's 6th birthday is today! So I've been doing the mom thing and running myself ragged trying to get her all the stuff she wanted for her party at school. Made it in time for snack at 9:40, and had a room full of kindergarteners with frosting and chocolate cupcakes on their faces call me "Mrs." I know they have to because it's respectful and whatnot, but I can't stand it! :lol: Anyway, I'm out again to pick up Lauren from preschool. It was one of those days when I drink my breakfast and lunch! (rum of course :lookaroun)
