Yes but he still enjoys it!! Maybe next year..

I’ve been going back and forth on Zelda, and even Minecraft actually.. I just worry that adding a 4th game may be more games than he will have time to play. How many games do people usually start with? And keep in mind that my kid is only going to have a few hours of game play per week.
Don’t get Zelda then because due to your breathing down his neck he’ll never finish it lol.

I’ve got one thing left to do and I’m over 400 hours in.
I just checked FIFA.. it’s 14gb. Hopefully not all games are that much!!!!

Oh and on more question.. can I let him play online but monitor it? Is there a way to block curse words?
If you bought the physical version all that 14GB is on the cartridge so the only thing being stored on the Switch itself would be the save data and any patches.

Ha ha. I’m not going to be horrible.. but I did find out that I can actually have it off at a certain time if he ignores an onscreen warning that playtime is up. I hope I’ll never have to use that feature, but it’s nice to know it’s there ;) I’m sure I’ll end up getting Zelda sometime this year.

I did buy the physical FIFA game.. good to know, thanks!

I recently picked up Fortune Street for the Wii after having wanted it for several years, and I'm having a blast even though I kind of suck at it so far. Need to learn better strategies.... Too bad I only have 1 functional Wiimote left else I'd invite some friends over to play.

In other news I also got Xenoblade Chronicles 2 as I recently had a change of heart to give the series another shot. It also helps that some of the blades you can acquire in that game are really cool/cute looking.

Christmas was very big for me in terms of Videogame gifts.

I got a Surprise Christmas gift this year in getting a Nintendo Switch. I actually didn't have the system on my list. What I received for games was Sonic Force, and Mario and Rabbids. The good news is I got an Amazon gift card for Christmas.

I got 3 Nintendo 3DS games and a whopping 14 games on older game systems. I did get tickets to a video game expo as a Christmas gift.

Slap whoever gave that to you as a gift because they clearly don’t like you and return it for Mario Odyssey or Zelda instead :p

Hi guys, just found this thread. I am not a console gamer but I love World of Warcraft. I have been playing since 2007. If anyone else plays and wants to putz around together let me know. I mostly solo play and am not big into PVP. But I have both alliance and horde players(mostly ally).

I don’t play WoW but I did play ToonTown when it was still up.

That game was sooooooooo fun.

For the Alliance!

I started in 2006 and played up till partway through Warlords of Draenor. Most of the people I played with fell off through the years so I eventually left. I sometimes get an itch to hop back in but it's never been more than that. There's a part of me that is nostalgic for WoW. I spent a good part of my early years playing with IRL friends and online ones.
