Oh that’s good to know. Thanks! The guy at the store did a demo of some Arms game for me. I know my son would love it. They did have a baseball game, but only RBI.
My son’s request was a game system with Christiana Ronaldo FIFA Special Edition. (Which Switch does have), Madden, a Baseball game that you play without a controller, a “shooting game”, and Minecraft.
He already has Minecraft on his tablet, and he’s not old enough for the “shooting games”.
I didn’t want to get him another game system until he was 12 (we have a Wii now).. mainly because of the content of games and the worry of the “live” aspect. Unfortunately though, it’s the ONLY thing that he wrote on his letter to Santa, so I’m stuck.
Here’s the upsides I see to Switch (please correct me if I’m wrong)-
1. Better motion reliability than PS4.
2. Easier parental controls.
3. Mario games that he already enjoys.
4. Age appropriate game choices.
5. Comes with 2 controllers.
6. Only accessories I would need is the wheels for Mario Kart.
Here’s the downsides I see-
1. No Madden.
2. Left controller has some connectivity issues ( according to Game Stop sales guy, but he says an update should be coming)
3. Lack of preowned games available for sale.
Thoughts?
