The Figgy family road trip! Or how to go without sleep

Spoiler alert, free stuff and soft openings are fun. Ok, here we go! Things started off differently than planned to say the least. A small tropical system was heading up 95N so we went west and took 81S into South Carolina before we saw any sun. This added somewhere between 2 and 3 hours to our trip but it was worth it as we kept hearing 95 wasn't the road to be on that day! From 81 we headed across 77 and found something that made me think about our dear @real mad hatter:eek: I think I might just have found his second favorite place in the states! Frugal Mc Dougal's discount beverage center, the place had a sign with a goofy looking guy with a kilt on it:eek: The rest of the trip to Georgia was quiet and we spent the night at the Super 8 in Brunswick. It was clean quiet and cheap. We got a good 8 hours sleep and we would need it as the rest of the trip we never seemed to get much:D

So. Hard. To. Keep. Up. With. Everything.

I mean, in all seriousness, sounds like you had a great action packed trip. Sounds like you enjoyed Star Wars Weekends, something I can only dream of doing. Regarding your Epcot posts, I would've recommended the pork chop for SS (I had it personally and enjoyed it :D), the oak-grilled fish or the Mongolian beef. (Those are fan favorites from what I understand.) And riding TT at night. Very bold in my opinion. I mean, I remember the first time I rode it last March and I don't think I could ride it at night. I would've thought I was riding a Ferrari at it top speed if I did. One ride a day on TT is enough for me! Loved hearing your day at the MK. As for HS, I felt so bad about everything that happened at Sci-Fi. It's gotten quite a bad rep on these boards and well, I'm probably going to avoid that place like the plague after reading all the posts! Yeah, those Indy hats are expensive. I was fortunate enough to get one on my last trip this March but still, that's probably the most expensive thing I've bought on the entire trip. Thank goodness I only need one!

Ok- and now I'm caught up ;)

Glad you enjoyed everything in FLE and that BOG was a hit. I wish I had tried the ratatouille when we ate there. Also sounds like you've been drinking properly :D (if there is such a thing)- Good job! And your issues at Sci Fi have me TERRIFIED! I currently have it booked for a 'snack'- but now I'm not sure if I want to take the chance. The last thing I need is DD6 having an anaphylactic reaction over chef ignorance. Can't wait to read more :)
With your issues with allergies I wouldn't risk it. But when I talked to the muckey muck from dining the look of terror on her face when I mentioned a problem with food allergies she said it would be addressed immediately. BTW the couldn't find the allergy book while I was there! Which severely limited food choices!
