What has changed do negate or disprove the opinion?
It’s a Dutch door that swings when things are subjective
Somebody said it’s “great”...however it’s not. It’s a ride technology all but abandoned...in six flags!!
It’s just well themed out front and has some AAs. The simulator itself is simply outdated no matter what new (mostly bad) film they put in front of you....
It is what it is: a middling innings eater. That’s the “value” of it.
I would go on it once a week or so...because the fast pass system left no other options.
Now they retiered and that’s no longer required.

That sir is just depressing!
When I was a kid I would dream about the next time I would get the rare chance to ride one of my favorite rides ever! I would kill to be able to ride it right now but I have to wait to take vacation time.

To each their own opinion. I agree that Spiderman has better technology but that doesn't make ST a poor ride. I enjoy ST every time I go on. Fortunately, the theming of this attraction, being a spaceport, doesn't mean it has to be in in SW:GE. SW:GE itself is themed to its own outpost anyway. I hope they keep it.

I hope Star Wars is so fantastically successful that they turn the current area where Star Tours is into another Star Wars mini-Land. They could redevelop the back of house are behind ST and Indy, reverse the entrance to ST, and put it back there.
