So even if they went back to the old show attendance would still most likely be bad so putting money into it to bring it back does nothing for the company. And to put something else in there also is a big challenge because the footprint is so small.
It does several things. First, it respects the company's legacy. How about a show that doesn't insult a work of Walt Disney? Second, how does one know that a show will not be successful without first showing it? Disney can't just say, "This sucks. I'd spend money on it to make it good, but no one sees it, so I won't." The logic is flawed. The reason no one sees it is because it sucks. Make it good, and people will see it.
I was hoping that the fire would destroy Iago permanently. I'm sorry to hear that it did not.
