Almost all water sources of any size have backup power. Here there are about 40 trillion water towers in the area where water is pumped into them and they are gravity fed from there. (no power required). Those places without towers usually have a reservoir located at the highest point in the area which is filled by pumping water into them and then are gravity fed. They also usually have backup power. So unless you have a well or are on a local community water system that shouldn't be a problem. After treatment, most systems are sealed. Unless there is a line break that also shouldn't be a problem. The idea that stocking up on water during almost any type of problem exists around them are not going to be a problem unless you are on one of the previously mentioned exceptions. Very few urban people have anything to worry about when it comes to water.

Thankfully, today, I was able to purchase 52 cases of Corona...so, I’m covered water and disinfectant-wise...!!!!! :hilarious:;)

Impressive. (But then I remembered you guys are way ahead of us in time of day, so I had to take back some of the impressive points.) :p

Cleaned the litter boxes, straightened up in the garage.

That's not something you should do first thing in the morning!! :jawdrop: Take the rest of the day off. ;)

With all the bread flying off the shelves and people worried about being quarantined in their houses what's the flour status in the stores. Do people not know how to make bread any more, will certainly have plenty of time stuck in your house. The wife makes bread-- nothing better than a fresh loaf of bread out of the oven warm and a stick of butter.

Flour is a staple that's also disappearing quickly. I got one of just 2 packages left in my grocery store last Friday. (I'm sure they've restocked since, but it was odd to see flour getting wiped out like that.)

So the first 3 people who were diagnosed with Corona in Maryland have now recovered. They are a 70 year old couple and a woman in her 50’s. Hopefully more people recovering can calm people’s nerves down.
That's good news-- from what I have been reading many of those who die have under lying medical issues--seem to be lung issues. I wish the media would report more about those who recover-- you are correct it would put many people more at easy
