Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
Ha ha! Not VIP just my husband being super stalkerish of the Dans! 🤪. Crowds aren’t too bad we have had some good food and we got all the ressies we wanted. Actually tomorrow we were supposed to eat at the new Toledo restaurant but have decided to try Topolino at the Riviera instead for dinner and got the time we wanted. Tomorrow is our first day attempting to get on Rise I’d the Resistance so keep your fingers crossed for us.

I loved Topolino's! An elegant room of windows with awesome views. Service was over the top as was the food. There is a balcony with lovely overstuffed patio furniture (you can't dine out there but can have an adult beverage) or just look at the views.

My mom and pop actually have a few sewing machines. My mom used to make many of our shirts when we were younger, and pop still loves the older machines for making similar to what you described.
One of our nieces was taking a smaller one out of the house today and needed help...she couldn’t believe how heavy it was...!!!!! :hilarious:

My grandmother had an ancient Singer. Not only did it weigh a ton, but she had it in something called a sewing machine table, that also weighed a ton! (I'm surprised the darn thing didn't break through the floor!) :p

On a completely unrelated matter, I get these AAA tips about road trips. Received one today about spring road trips across the country. One of them was in the Austin area -- Texas Hill Country and a 13-mile Willow City loop. You're probably familiar with that area. Looked very nice, and they suggested from March - May for scenic drives.

Planted my tomatoes the other day and they were calling for frost last night. Oh No Mr Bill ----but as luck would have it just checked and all is well no frost. Looks like we will be frost free from here on out.
