Despite all the flaws in our healthcare system IMO it is the best in the world, people from all over the world come here for medical procedures (Mick Jagger) The flaws in the system are many (patient, insurance, government, etc) which I won't get into, it would become a political discussion. My final word.

Youngest has her first private lesson at the old gym today since the team disbandment. It is at 2. Forgot to mention that the drama creators still continue to create drama. One of the moms who was at the open gym had been a board member and did not like what was going on so she was going to the gym I was taking dd too. They (the evil people), texted her before she got home from the new gym Friday, and accused her of bad mouthing the newly created gym. I was shocked. I sat next to her (A),and not a bit of gossip had come out of her mouth. They got wind of us going because there was another mom (K)I had been friendly with previously, whose daughter transferred from dd’s old gym there. She is friends with the evil moms. She did talk to this woman, so who knows what conversation between the two got overblown. Funny because A had warned me last week about what I said to K because it would get back to evil moms. Therefore I know A would not have said anything regarding the drama to K. I also found out that the evil moms have a Snapchat group(I really don’t get Snapchat), and call themselves “The Bad Moms”. I swear they have yet to get passed their high school days. They are a sick and twisted bunch.

Also forgot to mention that my friend S is getting the cold shoulder treatment from two of her friends for not going to the newly formed gym and taking her child to where youngest and I will be going. I am so glad I was never close to any of those people. The irony in all of this is that these two friends of hers always bad mouthed the evil moms. Guess they are gluttons for punishment, or are one in the same with the others and just hide it better.

Question: why on Earth would you want to have a home birth in a country where you can be in a nice hospital, surrounded by doctors, nurses, and medications to reduce pain, where it costs nothing to be there? I mean, maybe because I've never given birth (and hopefully not ever) but good grief I'd want to be in a hospital. Is there some benefit over there to giving birth at home verses a hospital?
I asked my daughter that question for all three of her kids. She just doesn't trust hospitals which is somewhat odd since her mother was an RN. But, she was determined to have them at home and she did. No, pain killers before, during or after. One in 2000, another in 2002 and the last one (hopefully) in 2011. She has done stuff like that since she was a teen. She had four wisdom teeth removed in the Dentist office and refused any pain medicine after. My theory is that she was born in the wrong time. She would have been a natural for the 1700's. She finally consented to start using medicine for HBP after I asked her what kind of funeral she wanted. Mean? Perhaps, but what is a parent to do when your children are in their 40's and you don't want anything bad to happen to them.

For fun, over Christmas break I was watching Youtube reviews of Acura, Infinite, Audi, Volvo, etc.
Acura is more than I can afford right now ( due to my DD starting college this August)....but I can say that based on my research, Acura is a nice car and relative to other luxury brands it is more affordable....or at least a good value for what you get.
I'll look for a video and then come back to the thread to attempt to post it.
