I'm not too worried because the local authorities will put the 3 of you in a cage together No cooking for me for a couple of days

We bought our Christmas tree this morning!! (Won't decorate it for another day or so -- I like the branches to "settle" before putting on lights and ornaments. I love the smell of pine in the livingroom!!

We always had a real tree when the boys were little and did the same thing. I miss having a real tree but don't miss the watering and needles

My eye is doing well still a little blurry but I and amazed at how well I can see. Thanks for asking will have the right eye done this Wednesday.

My wife's family when she was growing up did this (I consider insane for parents) the tree was not put up until Christmas eve and the inside of the house decorated after all the kids were asleep. When she and her brothers and sisters came down on Christmas morning that's when all the kids saw it for the first time. She said they were so excited-- needless to say for years she had me doing that for our boys until they got older. We usually did not finish until until just before they woke up. I was totally exhausted but it was worth seeing their faces, just the same I was glad when we didn't do it any more. Any on else do this-- were we the only crazy ones?

We thought about doing that once and decided against it because we remembered how many times we were up until almost dawn just putting toys together

T signed up for the church choir, so far he’s only sang on Fridays at school mass.

Today is his first Sunday mass. He has a solo part. He gets so anxious in front of crowds that I’m curious to see how he does, and I’m so proud of him for volunteering to do this. Off we go.

Made the HDDR corn bread today. It was perfect!

I finished with Christmas Cookies. My job was scooping them and put them on the cookie sheets. 2 of the Cookies, I had to roll them into balls.

On Friday night hubs and I went to the Minnesota Arboretum for their winter lights display so I thought I’d share some pictures.

This is the willow house all lit up, I share a picture of the willow house in October.

And a few more. This is the first time we’ve seen the winter lights even though we’ve been members for many years now. They were gorgeous.
