Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
Headed to the Wilderness Lodge this evening. Needed to have. Our picture
Under the tree. A traditional.

So disappointed with a second themed restaurant brought to the once quiet resort.
Strollers everywhere in lobby which is tight with Christmas decor. It was like being on the 4th flor of the Contemporary or the Main House of the Poly. I was stunned.

Have to go read @Tuvalu trip comments when I get home next week.

Don’t want to jinx it @StarWarsGirl but I have not used a scooter since my September long trip at Bay Lake. The trips have gone pretty well. 27000 steps yesterday and 23000 today. We have a long day tomorrow with the Christmas party so we came back after AK closed and Wilderness tree viewing.

Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
My DD and I chose to sleep.

Son up at 430 am. Uber to Swan at 5am. Walked to the Studios. In park by 6am. Board group 19. Called at 730. Off Resistance at 815 am. Resistance went
Down and Evacuated shortly after. The cast was Passing out water chips and bananas to those stuck in line. Hours later around noon they had only gone from 19 To 39 group. Poor people yet the cast my son said was upbeat.

They did scan his MB after enabling him to try for another slot if he wished. Glad they adjusted that from other attractions protocol as so many had been tapping in and adding a later time slot for RotR

Our opinion is if ever an attraction could have benefited from a soft opening RotR is it.

But for my sons early rise he rode Slinky and Mania before RotR and Tower along with Rockin after Resistance. Not bad in under 3 hours

Yes the wife likes perfection thus I don't do lights----- I'm so upset HA HA
I was just the opposite. My perfection obsession when it came to the lights was almost criminal, but I hated to do and never really cared about the other stuff hung on a tree. So I put the lights on and then sat back and allowed the rest of the family to just go crazy. They were happy, I was happy and all was well in the household.

My wife's family when she was growing up did this (I consider insane for parents) the tree was not put up until Christmas eve and the inside of the house decorated after all the kids were asleep. When she and her brothers and sisters came down on Christmas morning that's when all the kids saw it for the first time. She said they were so excited-- needless to say for years she had me doing that for our boys until they got older. We usually did not finish until until just before they woke up. I was totally exhausted but it was worth seeing their faces, just the same I was glad when we didn't do it any more. Any on else do this-- were we the only crazy ones?

I remember as a kid one time decorating the tree on Christmas Eve. That was the only time. That must have been so much work to do all the decorating in one night. Amazing the kids didn't wake up.
