Saw two of my original group of Cub Scouts I crossed over with tonight at our awards ceremony. We first met almost 12 years ago. I feel oldView attachment 428315

That's wonderful you all stayed in scouting because by the time I left at the end of high school there was only one other member I started out with. As for old wait until you have a 12 year old of your old lol Congrats to all of you

All three of us have actually been aged out for two years and this was our first time seeing each other since. Jay (middle) and I were the only two of our group of 23 to stick all the way to Eagle.

Well after a good 8 years or maybe even 10, with the last modem..... it was dying a slow death and disconnecting a lot... so guess who got a new modem today?! And I even had to call comcast to switch the modem information. Had ZERO hold time, and the guy was pleasant and got my modem info switched out and working in just a few minutes! I haven't had a good experience like that with comcast in like.. EVER. So I guess you could say it was a good day? On the bright side of haven't to shell out a good bit of money... this modem seems to be running things much faster. I like that!

In other news...my parents' bathroom is now undergoing the renovation. They kicked me down to the basement bathroom.

It's been one week.

Dad has not noticed at all that I haven't taken a shower down there because I've been sneaking into my bathroom to take showers and baths (Mom knows)

Just curious -- anyone traveling for Thanksgiving? Been watching the various weather reports for the country and a lot of inclement weather this week. Not ideal for either flying or driving. (We just go to a restaurant close to home, so no big travel plans.)

Only out shopping and we should be fine weather wise.

No travel plans here. Although we are planning to see the Nutcracker on Wednesday, hopefully we will be able to. A bad storm is supposed to hit Tuesday and go into Wednesday.

My heart goes out to all the people who travel this week, regardless of weather. When I watch the news and see the long lines at the airports, etc., that must be exhausting for people, just trying to get home for the holiday.
