Well, I do know that I've had "Room only" reservations at some Disney-owned hotels, down through the years; and a number of them were at special discounted rates. I travelled solo and wasn't charged anything additional for single occupancy. Of course, offers could vary, but that was my experience.
How my younger brother explained to me was it was per person, per night for all 4 hotels mentioned in the email. My younger brother forgot what the 4th hotel was.

Update on my car tire saga....the tire place was able to patch my tire. So the total cost on the tire was just under $17 so not too bad. I thought the tire was completely done for, that shows what I know about cars and tires I guess.:)

I'm glad it was fixable, but inquiring minds want to know if they actually were able to take it off to fix it? Or did they just give up trying to get it off and patch it right on the vehicle?

I didn't ask that, but I assuming that if a new tire was needed they would have done what was needed to replace it and get more money from me. At least that's what I'm hoping.

Dad: Do you want to become a paralegal?
Me: No, why?
Dad: We're hiring and the best part is you could work directly for me.
Me: Yeah, hard no.

Actually, I think you'd be great for the job -- just not working for your father, though. Had a feeling you'd turn that one down! (Seriously though, working for a family member changes the whole dynamic of the workplace, in most cases, that is). Plus, I think that people need to "get out" in the world and work and meet new people. You've done that and will continue on that trajectory. That's my two cents. :)

So how much is gas by you guys? I paid $2.75 a gallon yesterday buy me. 10 miles north the same company (Sheetz) is charging $2.63. That towns gas prices are always cheaper. It is just a town north. I don’t get it.

Ours are also somewhat within that range. We have some gas stations across the street from one another, and both are posting different prices. I dunno -- competition? Supply and demand?

I recall (some time ago) @Goofyernmost had some sort of good explanation about this pricing phenomenon. Perhaps he'll weigh in again, as I forget the specifics he shared.

You two are so much fun. And it amazes me, just how large the Mall of America must be, to have it's own hotel?! :D

I love seeing all the fall decorations and the colorful outdoor foliage pictures as well. Animal photos were also interesting. They're always so photogenic.

P.S.: I've never had a cheese curd (must be a regional thing) -- but, those bags of them look rather tasty! :hungry:
I don't like cheese unless it is melted, so I've never had cheese curds either, but my cousin owns a cheese factory in Wisconsin, and my mom and brother always LOVED the cheese curds.

I am guessing our taxes are ludicrous as @donaldtoo posted he paid just over $2 a gallon, and that they had just dropped. I haven’t seen the prices drop at all.
