Hey people.. any of you have been to Nashville?

Turns out the cochelar convention (the implant I wear makes conventions every 2 years) is going to be there and I'm not so sure.
All their past ones have been either to Disneyland (Anaheim) or Disney World and Universal Studios (Orlando).

But.. Nashville?
And TripAdvisor isn't convincing me at all.
Almost all the attractions are either wine trips or escape room trills.

Never been to Nashville, but I just did a quick Google search and found this helpful link. Looks like there is quite a bit to do down there. (And their claim to fame is country music, so I imagine the Country Music Hall of Fame would be very interesting to see. I don't listen to country music, but would still find that fascinating, as I like learning about new things, anyway.)

I've never played baseball in cold weather, but, soccer many times.
Back in HS we played most of our games in Zilker Park across Lady Bird Lake (back then Town Lake) just south of downtown. We had this one ref who always wore a coupla' pairs of pantyhose in cold weather. He claimed they gave him enough layering against the cold, but, much more mobility than sweats. Never questioned it, never tried, never researched it, but, that's what he claimed.

In the military and in the backpacking world, wearing pantyhose under your pants in cold weather is perfectly normal, lol. It works similar to an Afghan blanket, in that they trap pockets of heat. A lot of guys i know also packed Midol which is PMS relief medication, because when you walk fifteen miles with a pack on you're likely to suffer from bloating and fatigue and cramps and that's what it treats.

Goes for you too;)

Not untrue, but I do feel like there is room for improvement over the last trip, especially as the kid grows. In September, for example, we won't need to hit nap every day which opens a lot of possibilities for us. And she'll potentially go on more rides, which would be more fun for me, lol.

Yep. It also seems that their less planned trip is going better than a planned one.
I'd say it's half and half for the best memories. Planned/unplanned.

Everyone always says that the key to a good Disney trip is planning but i disagree so much. It's flexibility. Flexibility is the key. I planned our last trip down to the minute, and almost nothing went to plan. Book a couple meals, book a couple fastpasses, and then get a general idea of things to do between your fastpasses so you aren't just sitting around waiting for the next one to open. So, i agree with the half planning concept.

It snowed all day here yesterday, but didn’t stick. The perfect snowfall. I hope yesterday was the last day this Spring that I will see snow except for maybe on tv. ;)
I know 70+ here all weekend:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull::joyfull: I pulled out my sandals yesterday:joyfull::joyfull:

I know this sounds horrible of me, but I'm so disappointed it's going to be in the seventies this weekend in Columbus. I really wanted to be able to brag to all my friends about how warm i was in New Orleans :hilarious::hilarious:

Gotta run here, but just a quickie for @FutureCEO -- I saw this news yesterday, that William Shatner is going to be the commencement address speaker for the New England Institute of Technology, in Rhode Island. Those students are lucky! (I honestly can't even remember who the speaker was at mine--obviously, the person made no impression on me! :p )

Can't remember the speaker at mine either. Did we even have one? Yeah, no lasting impression I guess. ;)

@21stamps I can't find the scout dinner post and missed my opportunity to quote it, but I wanted to say that this is not going to be something that he remembers as an important life event in the long run. He's going to remember his trips with you, and that you were there at every sporting game, and that you supported him, and that you helped him grow. He's going to remember that you helped him with his homework and taught him to drive. If he does remember missing this dinner, it won't be a a big thing like it feels like right now.
