Ratchet as in the transformers one, or ratchet and clank?

I love ratchet and clank. IT was sad selling my PS3 and Ps4 with all my collected games.. but hey, needed the money and I barely played on my console.

In the other hand, I still get completely lost at what the purpose and story behind Kingdom Hearts.
The names of each game makes it even harder to understand the timeline.

I mean, Kingdom Hearts , Kingdom Hearts: chain of memories, Kingdom Hearts II, Coded, 358/2 days, Birth by Sleep, Dream Drop Distance, X, Unchained X, Kingdom Hearts rebirth, Final Mix, Re Chain of memories, 2.8 HD Final Chapter Prologue and so on.. :|

I'm scratching my head just looking at those titles!

Now, if you look at the wiki, the order of these names are not the order of the timeline!
Not even of the games!!! there are chapters inside the game that jump back and forth and mess, mix and settle between each other game.

I mean.. look at this:

Ratchet and Clank. The boys have even watched the movie a few times:cautious:

Doesn’t everyone say that Universal is inexpensive? This is 3 nights accommodations & park tickets. For 2.

That's HR rack rate. 3 nights or more gets you stay more play more which is a better rate. Also check the other hotels. Package is not always the best deal either. It also gives you the most expensive ticket option which you may not need

Ok I’m going to try to go to the hotel first and build it that way.

I had booked Royal Pacific in 2016, but had to cancel it when we changed dates and decided to do all Disney instead.. I remember it being relatively high back then as well.. thought summer (August) might be less.

Previous to cell phones they had walkie talkies at his job and I was strapped to a beeper at one point.
Yes, and these were a hybrid of that situation, but, walkie talkies had a very limited range and these seem to be restricted only to wherever they had wireless phone capabilities. It always seemed to me that it was ahead of it's time. I could have a conversation with someone on the east coast while in my car with just my cell phone. There was no delay in response. It was like talking to someone that was just a couple of feet away from you. I don't know why it no longer exists. I guess it was just redundant and did the same thing as calling on your phone. Probably exactly the same technology without the phone ringing. Text has taken over for that feature. Probably too many started conversations during either a church service or a private moment.

@figmentfan423 , what am I missing? “Stay more play more” is exclusive to club level?
This is a Sunday-Wednesday stay, last week of August.

That does seem a bit high. Last week of August you won't need EP so you may want to look at CB(lazy river at resort) or one of the "moderates". If you've never been before skip VB you won't have time with 3 days. That should get you price down quite a bit. Also stay far away from their dining plans!!!!!!!! Worse deal than Disney!!!! The only ticket you should need is a 3 day hopper. Check undercover tourist to see if they or AAA has a better deal. Their new hotel that's opening in August has 100 or so per night specials or did a week or 2 ago

The movie is cute, but sadly.. it was babiffied a lot to be for young kids in my opinion (one of the reasons many said why the movie didn't do better in the box office).
Would you be surprised if I tell you that ratchet and clank wasn't technically a game for kids? it was for late teenagers made by late teenagers/adults.
Most of their games all had sexual innuendo as title names and had corny double worded jokes :hilarious:

Example.. "Going Commando" "UP YOURs ARSENAL" "QUEST FOR BOOTY" "FULL FRONTAL ASSAULT" "SIZE MATTERS"

Still strange for the change of R&C movie towards more childlike story and simplified dialog/story-lines.
As the creator ( they changed writers twice.. 2 of them were related to the game, and then replaced by a movie writer) and Movie studio had made a bit more fun and teenager friendly movie in "ESCAPE FROM PLANET EARTH".

I suppose they wanted to go back to their kids-centered releases, as the studios made a ton of cartoons for TV and direct to tv movies (Like Barbie, Max Steel, Action Man, Hot Weels)

Portofino appears to be cheaper it seems..

Interestingly, the low price offers seem to be with a minimum of 4 nights.
Perhaps thats what triggers the "stay more, save more".

Aka more days, bigger discount.

*edit*

The SEASONAL discounts seems to be definitively bigger, as they offer different kind of rooms.. the 400+ prices, are for deluxe and bigger than normal rooms, like suites.

Kinda makes sense..
SEASONAL = bigger discounts based on season. Normal rooms.
STAY MORE SAVE MORE = SUITES and DVC style APARTMENT ROOMS with multiple rooms and a kitchen.

I cancelled our cruise in June because of change in itinerary..we’re going in November on a different cruise.. so instead I figured I’d do two small “weekend trips”, plus our annual camping trip. We’ll be at Cedar Point in June, camping July.. and then thought Uni for a last hoorah before school starts. Each one is 3 nights. I could do 4 at Universal.. do specials usually come out later on? I’m not doing it at this price.

@21stamps I just got 1281.45 at CB and Adventura with 5 day 3 park promotional ticket. Hope that helps

Oh that’s great!.. but is that the hotel without a pool slide? Can you still walk or boat to the parks?

Is universal similar to Disney and release “promotions/discounts” for certain time frames?

Edit- just looked it up.. CB is next to Volcano Bay. That’s pretty cool! I know that we’ll get the Express Pass regardless.. I’ll keep checking for discounts throughout the next month or so.. I don’t have to book this second. Thought I’d check prices.

You can always stay in the hotel that is right opposite of the parks.. It costs like 60 USD a night there.

And they have hourly buses.
Or you could just order a Uber, it costs like 4 USD to uber your way and its always full of ubers in that zone.

Doubletree by Hilton, Holiday and Suites and Hyatt Place Orlando Universal are right infront for much cheaper prices.

I went to the Doubletree and it was ok.

*edit*
Never mind, I just noticed that the pool and slides are important for you.

Yep.. we won’t have any cool pool slides at our Cedar Point hotel.. which is also stupidly priced for what it is.. but at least we’ll have the beach and Lake Erie.. and the parks...and most importantly- road trip distance.
Kiddo better grow 1/2 and inch by then!

I just always read that Universal hotels are relatively inexpensive, I’ve seen people quote Hard Rock Universal prices that are nearly half the price of Hard Rock Hollywood.. thought it would be a good quick getaway.

Last time I was here, I came out with a glitter lamp for my desk at work. I will do better this time.

When are you going?? I'm on the edge of my seat, here!!

Usually we go to Kona's but bread pudding is the best. You can get that at Kona's too.

Actually I seem to get bread pudding wherever I go.

Nice idea!! I booked Kona for the date and time i want Ohana. So if Ohana doesn't come up available, we can still dine at the poly before hitting the beach for fireworks, and we can try for Ohana next trip
