It was WGN, but Tom has Sunday night off. What the heck? I never saw that? I stick to Tom Skilling.
He has us dry until Saturday. Then Rain. My mindset just wants to believe that is true. *delusional*

I think the global warming thing has probably gone by the wayside. What is more likely is that climate change is happening. I'm 70 years old which means I have seen a lot of winters mostly up north. Yes they are different, but, these current events happen way less often then they once did. We had snowbanks up to the eves of most houses. The difference was we didn't have very far to go and if they had closed down schools every time a snowflake fell (human or frozen water) we would all be illiterate. Now we see what to me is a gradual change in north to the south. The south is much cooler and generally the north is much warmer overall then it once was. It was in the early 80's that the south started getting regular snow storms. I drove down from Vermont in one of those snow storms and they had absolutely no snow removal equipment, not even a snow shovel in the area. Since that point the south gets snow regularly where the north more often gets warmer winter weather over that same time span. Back in the 90's I made the statement to a friend that in an other 100 years people will be headed north to live in the winter and the south will be snow bound quite often. It still looks like it is trending that way. Just not this year.Well...it has been said Global Warming is here. Feel the heat? It is 29 degrees here now.![]()
A map gives people a general feel for the area. It makes you know, visualize and understand where you are What the GPS is pinpointing is the specific place that you are in, but, gives you no relation to the entire area around you. It messes up one's since of direction big time, especially at night when the is no sun to navigate by. And who carries a compass with them all the time now? Correction... there is an app. for your phone that works like a compass. Ah, yes... the modern world. However, if you battery buys the farm or you drop it in a puddle... you're toast. While you are not a 'driver' by choice I am by default. I don't like it but I do s u c k it up and do what I have to do over the last 15 years though I'd rather fly and do when I can.
I have come to love GPS it has come a long way over less than a decade. I like the warnings of coming up turns. Long ago it left me hanging in places I should not have but now it is rarely wrong more than a 100 feet which is more than I can do with a map.
Still that said I like to pull up a map that I can see. I also have an atlas in the car. I like before I set out to have a picture in my head where I am going. I let GPS guide me however the map does let me have a clear vision in my head where I am heading.
Never even ate thereI am usually on the other side for lunch. Colombia Harbour House is my place to go. Although I swear the prices jumped up.
You might have to hibernate until July.
What are they changing now? There still is construction atCosmic Rays. I didn't really look at the menu though, hubs did mobile ordering and I knew I wanted nuggets.
Well, I remember there was a discussion about last year's earnings and how they were barely up despite the big price increases.I've seen the ticket stubs.
I do wonder how sustainable this pricing structure is, yet here I am with an up and coming vacation, the parks are as crowded as ever.
I now imagine you throwing the paper and other office supplies between cubicles instead of walking around XDIt hasn't gotten bad here yet, so I came in the office. It's just me, my supervisor, and one coworker in this area. We usually IM each other or walk over and talk quietly. Today...let's just shout from our cubicles instead.![]()

So I'm pretty sure that people are going to the parks but consuming WAY LESS in things like food, memoralia , snacks and drinks.
So technically.. Disney is shooting themselves in the foot.
I wonder if I can get an all veggie fajita there but not pay us much for it. Fat chance for the second part.Same, I always hit Columbia Harbour house before going anywhere else.
Hated the fast food offers in Tomorrowland. Funnily.. Peco's Bill burgers were decent compared to the horrible ones they gave me at Cosmic Ray's.
Wow! Stay warm and safe! It does look pretty though.Outside my front door right now. Many more inches expected. We were spared the worse snows of the winter and now we are located in the heaviest snowfall band.

It has been my experience that March is always that worst month for snow and nasty weather. Nor'Easters always seemed to love March, but most of the time they are in early March. Maybe their insurance company saved money and didn't send them a calendar. My Grandmother used to tell me that the day my father was born (May 3rd) it snowed that day and the Doctor took forever to get to their house. Personally, 18 years ago my youngest Daughter got married. The morning was a wonderful 72 degrees. By the time the reception ended it was snowing and they were unable to get out for their honeymoon cruise because of 10 to 12 inches of snow. The date... April 8th. In fact the day she was born April 3rd, we had a significant storm the day before. Plenty of Snow still on the ground. The only other one that sticks with me was very bazaar. When I was about 10 my father and his friend decided to go fishing on a mountain lake in the foothills of the Adirondacks in NY State. While we were out there fishing... it was snowing. Date... July 4th.Outside my front door right now. Many more inches expected. We were spared the worse snows of the winter and now we are located in the heaviest snowfall band.

I think the year before last we got hit with 3 feet of snow in March. As a kid in the NYC area, I remember getting over 2 feet in April '83. It was the first time I remember schools ever being closed. Our street wasn't plowed until the following day. I though it was cool walking in the deep snow in the middle of the road. While I can appreciate the prettiness of it, I now consider it a nuisance. Besides, it's really cold.It has been my experience that March is always that worst month for snow and nasty weather.
