@dryerlintfan has been missing. Hope all is well.

All is well!! My daughter's birthday is coming up in two weeks, so I've been busy preparing for that. We decided to give her gender neutral room a makeover so it better fits her personality, so we've been turning it into a princess room. I'll post pictures when it's all done, but let me tell you, creating a pink sparkly wall isn't exactly easy, LOL

She's also got her party coming up. We're doing an Olaf/Summer/Frozen pool party. It's really cool we can do a pool party indoors in the winter, but I'm not looking forward to putting my bathing suit on.

And then in the few minutes I do have to come check on things here, I get overwhelmed by how far behind I am. I might just go back 6-10 pages and pretend like I'm all caught up :hilarious::hilarious:

Sympathy like for the weather!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats on the shopping score but you're killing me. Now I'm wondering why I thought a full year no clothes shopping challenge would be a good idea:banghead:

I'm struggling with this too. No shopping gets really difficult for me when the end of the season clearances go up. I'm over here like, OMG that dress is so me! I need to have it! Wait... I don't even wear dresses.....

At one point in my working life, I went over 10 years without taking a sick day. When I left the company I sold those days back to them for a tidy sum. Also had a number of unused Vacation days that I was able to capitalize on as well.
Of course, that meant a couple of days when I went to work sick as a dog. We were a heartier bunch! :in pain::joyfull:

My husband hasn't taken a sick day in three years. Of course, that all changes this year. Normally I have to take my time off from work to take care of the little one when she's sick or her school is closed. This year, my husband volunteered to do it so we'd have a shot at Disney at the end of the year.

I have made an honest effort to purchase nothing since the new year began. I was really good, but then @Gabe1 showed off her Christmas light up Crocs and I had a discount code for Crocs that was burning in a rebate site I use when I buy stuff online. Anyway those Crocs were no longer available, but I saw for my 2 younger dd's the pink Minnie light up Crocs were on close-out for $17.99 from $44.99. They only had size 13, 1, and 2 available. My little one is an 11.5/12 and my older is a 2. So I bought one of each and then I got an extra 15% off. So for the price of one and free shipping and then 10% back from the rebate site, I was actually proud of myself. But no more shopping now. ;)

I had to buy new gloves. One of my favorite gloves went missing so I was walking to work like Alanis Morresette: One hand in my pocket, and the other one holding my coffee mug. The problem was that they discontinued this glove five years ago :cry::cry::cry:

So I browsed for new ones, and accidentally bought four shirts as well. The gloves weren't what I was hoping for, so I have to return them. I'll likely return the shirts too, because they weren't exactly as I'd hoped either. So I guess no harm no foul.

I was also thinking about you recently, and figured you were probably busy. Glad to hear all is well and I'm looking forward to the photos of the princess room! ;) Your daughter will be thrilled.

No
At the airport to proceed back to the tundra.

The TSA is ridiculous.

I actually prefer flying by myself. I'm no longer used to this traveling with my parents thing. I actually separated from them in security for a bit for a break. :hilarious: Which is funny because I used to hate flying by myself. But last year I took precisely one flight with them and now I'm like, "Hmmm...nope."

Have a safe flight home.

She is so thrilled. With every step we take she's over the moon excited. When we put up her castle decal:

"I love my new castle so much!! I want to hug it!! I need to change my dress to match my castle!!!"

(Don't mind the mess, we were still installing things. And there's not normally knives laying around her room :hilarious::hilarious:)

No, I've been thinking about her a lot too. I hope she is okay. I wonder if there is another way to track her down, not in a creepy way of course. I know she once said her daughter had a Disney blog and post a link to it but that was a long time ago but perhaps that might be a way. I just hope she is in good health and too busy with the grandkids to be on here.

Yes, I remember the post about her DDs blog. Can't remember if she posted a link or just the name of it. It was so far back though.
Prayers that she is well and we will hear from her again.

There was a famous movie about a trainer (John Candy) who formed a Jamaican bobsled team.. It was an hilarious and touching movie.

If I remember correctly, it happened for real, so no idea why it would be that hard for helping a team from Africa to go for that.

I'm sure this has already been answered, but, the movie was Cool Runnings, it was also a Disney movie and indeed an enjoyable one...!!!
