The strangest thing just happened. I was able to get same day Frozen FPs. It's currently 4:30. The FPs are for 5:50.

This is like living in the Twilight Zone.

At one point in my working life, I went over 10 years without taking a sick day. When I left the company I sold those days back to them for a tidy sum. Also had a number of unused Vacation days that I was able to capitalize on as well.

Of course, that meant a couple of days when I went to work sick as a dog. We were a heartier bunch!

Many companies don't allow that though--you were lucky. Most places I've worked tell you that if you don't take your vacation that year, you lose whatever you haven't taken. In my current job, I can bank up lots of time--I think they max us out around 400 (I'm not near that!). I like taking vacation--helps my sanity. But it's nice to know that I have bankable hours that I can hold on to.

Disney needs a lot more stuff to justify those prices. Hotel prices too are way too high.

My dh can bank unlimited sick time but only 6 weeks of vacation as of Janurary 1. From then he can bank as much as he wants as long as it's not over 6 weeks the next Jan. 1st

In our travels today I almost caved and bought 2 shirts on sale. As soon as we got home my dh said order what I would have spent on the 2 shirts in fabric. I now am getting enough to make 5 items. Best dh in the world.

Technically they have all the money in the world and more to do such without increasing the prices.
Remember that the net gain of attractions for DHS by the time galaxy edge's open, will be +1. (tons of closures before these changes)

On my first trip I found the sunglasses hut to be outrageously expensive.
100 USD markup compared to the airport. and 125 USD markup compared to Houston's prices.

I know how it is with having a parent that was a chaperone. I had teachers that had a group of kids be with my mom. Those kids were afraid of misbehaving.

While I didn't go to any theme parks or assessment parks on Field trips as a kid, my mom was a chaperone for my younger brother and I in grade school. The field trips were places like the public zoo, pumpkin farm, Circus, and to an indoor swimmer pool.

Myself and my DWifey were chaperones many times for our kiddos. Everything from zoos, to museums, to theme parks, etc. We didn't need to be as they were good kiddos, but, we all liked, and still do, hanging out together...!!!!!
