No, it was the Science Museum in London. Nemo in Amsterdam is really great too, I like taking my nephew there. The nice thing about the London museums is that they are free.
Yeah, I'd really like to make a trip with the kids and hubby to do some museums and all the Harry Potter stuff there. I've done a lot of the HP things....King's Cross, the studio tour, some of the filming locations...but I was traveling with friends, so the rest of the family hasn't been there. And I'd like to see museums.

There was a famous movie about a trainer (John Candy) who formed a Jamaican bobsled team.. It was an hilarious and touching movie.

If I remember correctly, it happened for real, so no idea why it would be that hard for helping a team from Africa to go for that.

That movie was called Cool Runnings, it was a funny movie and I liked that it was based on a true story. It was on our tv the other night so I recorded it but haven't gotten around to rewatching it. I think the Jamaicans are now very proud of their bobsled team and have figured out a way for tourists to fund it. When we went to Jamaica there was a tour you could take to visit the training area and ride in their sled and at the airport in Montego Bay there was a Jamaican Bobsled team restaurant and lots of merchandise for sale. I believe the signs said it helped to fund the Olympic bobsled teams now. They even had a bobsled you could sit in and get your picture taken.

Not a great picture of me but it was interesting to sit in. I certainly wouldn't be able to run with it and then jump in as bobsledders have to do.

They should never claim that it wont happen.

A volcano literally was born infront of the eyes of people in Mexico.. out of nothing..

The land just cracked and started to spew slowly fire and molten rocks, and in less than a few months that grew to 300meters tall.
And continued growing until it covered towns. And it opened right in the farm of a man.

The volcano is named PARICUTIN if anyone wanted to google.

I talk about Paricutin when I teach my 8th graders about volcanoes. They find it unbelievable yet obviously believable (since it is true) about the origins of the volcano. A lot of my students live on farms, so they imagine what it would be like to see that happen out in a field and they are just in awe of it and probably happy to know it probably won't ever happen here!

While I like to see every person from the games. I'm currently watching the first joint Korean team play hockey. I guess you say in general even though England doesn't really have a shot of winning. The Dutch are obviously brilliant in speedskating. Scandinavia is skiiing and skiing/shooting (though I'm surprised the US is not number one in shooting). We, USA, win too much. While good, it gets boring after a while to see a few teams dominate the games.

But if the team is in Europe, most likely I'm rooting for them ;). I know I shouldn't, I just can't help it.

Question: I don't get how people that live in Texas can form a bobsled team for Africa?
I wondered that myself but I saw them on Ellen or something and I guess their parents are from whatever country they are representing. I kind of think it's weird, but apparently it's not against the rules. They must have dual citizenship?

My dad and I went to the end of TT to see the cars in the showroom, specifically the Malibu. After a lot of protesting about me considering a Chevy over a Buick, he got inb sat downb and said, "Okay, this is a nice car." Well, I tried to tell you.

Although for some reason, my father, who has always bought American cars, specifically GM cars, has voted for the Honda Accord for me. o_O:cyclops:Mmmm k.

It was vanilla/lemon. I don't like chocolate icing, my brother isn't a fan either. We prefer vanilla

I am usually a chocolate first type of person but I enjoy other flavors too on occasion. Sometimes a good vanilla, lemon, or orange flavored cupcake just hits the spot. Yesterday at the grocery store they had cherry chip donut holes in the bakery section and that sounded really good but I knew my hubs wouldn't eat them and I don't need to eat them so I put them back, sadly.
