Our tree goes up in 2 weeks. It used to go up sooner because dh knew it annoyed me. I have since been able to say that it cannot go up until after youngest dd's birthday which is in the middle of November. Hooray for me for putting my foot down.

New cast of TMNT 2018 has been revealed.. I'm nervous.. I just really hope the designs arent total crap like the summer short beanies or the teen titans go crap style that was leaked.

I did not like TTG for the longest time but it has a longevity to it, 200 episodes! CN tends to end popular shows around their seventh season so TTG is good for a few more. I'm not impressed the new Unikitty series is classic animation and not in the style of other Lego series like Ninjago.

Yes, as is true with any serve/help yourself food situation.
Everything from family gatherings, to the happy hour buffet at your local bar, to numbers upon numbers of giant all you can/care-to-eat serve yourself buffet (yes, I know you don't care for buffets ) places everywhere. It's just a simple, complimentary nacho bar. For those who may just be there for a drink and a snack, or like us, just having a little sustenance while waiting for a table, etc. We love the idea!
And yes, we also get the chips, salsas, and queso brought to us at our table by our server from the kitchen...!!!!!

Yay, placing an order at Bath and Bodyworks today and a portion of my holiday shopping is done. My goal is to have everything non-food wrapped by December 1st. At least I keep telling myself that.

The chicken looks good!

Hubby liked the chicken so much, he had it every night! Along with sourdough rolls, and apple pie for dessert. I like to try new things...so I tried different things, like short ribs, vegetables, and chateau potatoes. I'll see if he took a picture of my plate!

Our family situation is a mess. We don't know anything about Thanksgiving or Christmas. This divorce situation is still getting on my nerves. Next year, I'm thinking of going on a cruise at both holiday's. Son-In-Law won't give daughter the times he wants the boy's...so we are all waiting....

Good morning @figmentfan423, I've often thought of changing my tree throughout the year..to celebrate all holidays....then I came to my senses and figured that is too much work. I am celebrating the holiday's with a small scale holiday landscape on my ottoman's . Maybe I have a picture somewhere, if not I'll post around Christmas.

Update on my hubs....I took him to the Dr. this afternoon, we both assumed that he would be getting a cast. The ortho doc took some new x-rays and determined that hubs should ace bandage his ankle and use a non-weight bearing boot. He said the ankle bone looked stable and as long as that held the wrapping and the boot would probably work best. Plus hub ankle was still really swollen so we are still keeping it elevated and icing it. So he has another appointment in a week and hopefully everything will still be going well.

A church member brought over a shower chair today so hubs got his first shower since Monday he was so happy about that. He said he feels human again!

You have very nice church member's. You both deserve a break (bad pun), I'm glad things are going well, sorry about this situation. I hope both of you enjoy Thanksgiving.
