Welcome home!! So glad you enjoyed it...sounds like more than you were expecting, too, so that's great! We missed you! So the cruise that your DH won...is that a Disney Cruise? Can he choose where he wants to go?
I totally agree with you about the evaluation of the servers....that should not be done in front of the guests. That should be done in the back.

It's on Royal Caribbean . We went with a newer ship, in the same Oasis class of ships...it was built in 2016. They have some different things to do. We hope Puerto Rico is open by October 2018, that where we wanted to go. If not, there are plenty of things to do on the ship. This next year is our 50th anniversary...we are going to Disney in February....back to Disney in June, with the grandkids and then the cruise in October. After all that, I'm not sure I want to board another plane again. Maybe one trip the following year to Disney Land. Then, I will be more that glad to hang up my traveling hat!

He doesn't do well with the number's game, except Keno. His Mom and his grandmother were winners too. His grand mother won a mink coat (back in the day) and a new color T.V. Among other things.

So much harder to start the day when the sun doesn't rise until after 7:30 and the sky is completely overcast. Crummy weather day ahead.

I close up my curtains on crummy weather days. Turn up the heat and pretend it's summer. We also have a picnic day too, fried chicken, baked beans and potato salad. I watch recorded shows of the kitchen during their summer season. I'm into pretending a lot!

What a great idea!! If only electricity would be cheaper it would be summer in my house everyday! Reminds me of when dh and I were newlyweds in an apartment complex. The utilities were included in the rent. Stupid, stupid landlords. Boy, did we take advantage of that! Shorts and tees in the winter.

I went to my 2nd followup visit after my cataract surgery, and the surgeon says that my eye is looking really good. I passed along my primary doctor's request about delaying my 2nd cataract surgery, and he then told me to return for my next visit/appointment in 4 week's time.

I met a woman from Puerto Rico when I was at the airport getting my grandma. The woman spoke no English, so I was the only one there she could talk to. She told me she was going to see her family here, but her home was destroyed. I felt so bad for her, especially since she apparently hadn't talked to anyone since leaving Puerto Rico earlier that day.
