Well, I don't know if it's all over in the Netherlands or just here at our school. I mean, obviously every school has a bully or two...but our school does seem to have WAY more than its fair share of them, but I'm betting that it's more to do with the lack of consequences. I don't think it would be as bad if incidents had been handled way back when they started. But I don't know if other schools have as big of a problem as we do...none of my friends have mentioned their kids being bullied, so I rather think not. But you know how it goes...kids who get bullied seem to almost have a target on their backs...the bullies are good at picking out the vulnerable kid. So changing schools often doesn't help, which is why we didn't try it before. But now we kind of have to, and I think it will be different at a special school. If we had to go to another regular school, I'd be a lot more worried.

My apologies for being so far behind.
I really hope everything has been sorted to the best-case scenario, by now.
Fingers crossed...

Fun fact...the reason people slept sitting up is they were less likely to snore. People believed that your soul would escape from your mouth if it opened while you were sleeping. They slept sitting up to keep their mouth from opening and allowing the soul to escape their body.

I snored a lot during my early 30's-late 40's.
Since then, not so much. Don't know why, because I was still sleeping on my sides (shifting from one to the other several times during the night), for quite a while and didn't snore at all, before I started sleeping mostly sitting up.
I'm sure there's some "shrink" explanation for this  ;), but, I really don't care...I sleep best that way now...! :)

@ajrwdwgirl , my husband would like to know if DLP hotels will let you store your bags and explore the park until your room is ready, and after you check out? I figured you might know.

So....DD and I are still a Minnie Mouse ears factory and we scored some more headbands today. We thought we'd make some extra to give to little girls in the park if they like ours...would that be weird?

Yes they will let you store your bags. We stored ours. I think sharing Minnie ears would be a neat idea, you might want to make sure their parents are around when you offer and it is okay with them that the girls accept. If you enjoy making them go ahead and make extras, it will probably make someones day!

That is such a sweet idea. :happy:When do you leave for the trip?

I know, late as heck again, but, that was an awesome idea!!! :)
Proper discretion, of course, but what little girl would turn down free lovingly-made ;) Minnie ears...!!!!! :joyfull: :)
