I can't even sympathy like that, just way too :greedy::greedy::greedy::greedy::greedy::greedy::greedy: How's the hunt for a more efficient vehicle going?
I'm probably looking at February for a new one. The SUV should still be good for winter; they'll have sales then. Complicated by the fact that the dealer who I was going to use screwed us over on a repair for the SUV, so I am no longer using them. So now I'll probably end up going to the dealer that my parents last used because I want someone who I can trust, and if they liked that sales guy, so it's good enough for me. But it's also 45 minutes away, and I just haven't had time to go over for a test drive.

Thanks!
I just got back from running to the store to pick up an item I forgot yesterday after work.
It's definitely hurricane-ish out there, although we are in a lull with the rain, for now. I can't remember the last time I saw this much wind here (other than the fact that us Texans are well-known for bein' kinda' full a' wind, anyway :D ;)).
It looks like Harvey ground-zeroed our beloved Port Aransas. Have yet to see pics, but, it can't be good.
Anyway, like I posted before, I'm surprised it took this long for Texas to get hammered by a major storm again.
Prayers to all affected...
Prayers

Hi all!

Thinking Texas for the last few days.

Been a bummer of a week here from health of my DD issues to loss of life due to health insurance restrictions in America. DD bummed with a colleagues death. Went into hospital with a severe case of phenomena and they released her with meds. So she died. 30 years old. Broke her heart and mine too. Wrestling with the @FutureCEO thought process of move elsewhere. 30 years old and dead because of a restrictive insurance plan. This would be my own kid(s). I am so wrestling. I type this with tears in my eyes. How does this happen here.

The ones I've seen are either uv or led gel polish and I think they're making somewhat of a comeback. My beauty supply store always seems to be running out of it.

Here it is anything Rose Gold colored. From Tshirts to nails, to cricket supplies, even Mickey Ears at the MK now selling out. Should be an interesting Christmas Season.

I am SOOOO glad this week is over. Between DS wetting the bed, meltdowns, the bike accident Friday, culminating in DS's not being able to sleep and having nightmares when he did, I need a break! We took the kids and DD's friend to Kalkar today. They had so much fun and all 3 got along so well...DD's friend is so much like her...just really easy going and well behaved. We could let them wander through the park on their own and do what they wanted to do and they just checked in after every ride or so. And it was great that DS had a fun day after such a tough week. Bonus, I think it wore him out because I haven't heard a peep out of him since he went to bed an hour ago.

Happy both you guys and he got a break from all that. Pixie Dust.

Hope next week is better. Here the world of Dress Codes is taking a national hit.
Basically I am anticipating by the recommended policy....everyone will be wearing whatever they please to school irregardless if it is appropriate or not. God Bless the staff.

In Illinois our gas prices spiked before the hurricane hit in Texas. Excuse: the refineries might be effected. Up 35 a gallon. The gas was already in their reservoirs. Hate price gouging on the backs of those being hit. Wrong.

Absolutely!!! And I was watching a story on the news about some clown trying to gouge people in Texas. by greatly inflating prices of cases of bottled water he was selling from his truck--when these people are hurting and desperate while this horrible storm is going on.

Goes to show that in a crisis, there are both horrible people and wonderful people. I suspect far more wonderful people are down there now, neighbors helping neighbors, and strangers helping strangers.
