The good news I didn't fly away but came close:hilarious: Who the heck sent the wind:rolleyes::cautious::mad: Anyhoo after I got home I finally got to working on the "muslin" I wound up using "real" fabric because worst case I knew if I hated the dress I could salvage the skirt portion.:joyfull: I have a 1/2 finished dress:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull::joyfull: All I have to do is take it in, line and hem it.:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull::joyfull: Then wait for summer to wear it:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

I don't think this is a good sign! My new dryer was supposed to come tomorrow but it's coming later today due to impending weather conditions:cautious: My dh also has to work late tonight for the same reason:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: I'm hoping that both are because of items and people coming from a bit south of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I decided to get Amazon prime. I could still get it for the student price, and I decided to get the store card to build some credit. I figured now that I'm working and I'm not five minutes from Target and Best Buy with hour-long breaks like I was in college, it would save me time.

Whelp, my sunglasses broke today. It's only the second day of work, and I could have gone to one of the shops across the street after work to pick up a new pair.

And...nope. I'm already to lazy to walk into an actual store. New sunglasses from Amazon will be here Monday.

Sympathy like. I was just in that boat. Looking for a new job is no picnic.

One tip from someone who was just in your position: make sure your LinkedIn profile is completely up to date. Recruiters use it to find you. I got my current job because a recruiter found my profile and it ended up being a great opportunity with a large corporation that operates 15 minutes from home. So you never know.
