The good news I didn't fly away but came close

Anyhoo after I got home I finally got to working on the "muslin" I wound up using "real" fabric because worst case I knew if I hated the dress I could salvage the skirt portion. I have a 1/2 finished dress All I have to do is take it in, line and hem it. Then wait for summer to wear it

I try. I'm actually at a workshop today about personalized learning. It was interesting in the morning, now after lunch my interest is waning. Must be the fried chicken they served us.

I don't think this is a good sign! My new dryer was supposed to come tomorrow but it's coming later today due to impending weather conditions My dh also has to work late tonight for the same reason I'm hoping that both are because of items and people coming from a bit south of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have no clue, maybe it's because I got spring pink polish on mani/pedi day
Winds by me were 50 mph yesterday. It got so bad our power went out at vocational school

I decided to get Amazon prime. I could still get it for the student price, and I decided to get the store card to build some credit. I figured now that I'm working and I'm not five minutes from Target and Best Buy with hour-long breaks like I was in college, it would save me time.
Whelp, my sunglasses broke today. It's only the second day of work, and I could have gone to one of the shops across the street after work to pick up a new pair.
And...nope. I'm already to lazy to walk into an actual store. New sunglasses from Amazon will be here Monday.

Sympathy like. I was just in that boat. Looking for a new job is no picnic.
One tip from someone who was just in your position: make sure your LinkedIn profile is completely up to date. Recruiters use it to find you. I got my current job because a recruiter found my profile and it ended up being a great opportunity with a large corporation that operates 15 minutes from home. So you never know.
