I just read a report the Main Street Electrical Parade is ending in early October and Paint the Night will stay at Disneyland and be performed on select night during the holidays. Actually it said that Ptn would be performed somewhere at the Disneyland resort.

I would prefer that Disneyland keep paint and WDW get something completely new.

I saw that today to, and wonder what they have up their sleeve. Ok, really hoping they have something up someone's sleeve.

Yes, that movie came out when I was still dealing with my mom's passing. Never saw it, never want to. I will skip the play as well.

And seriously, they need to turn the sensitivity down so women's bras don't set it off. Seriously, my bra never set it off before this. It's rather embarassing to have your ***** scanned and set the wand off!

I would be one hundred shades of pink. And those are not exactly rare. I can just imagine a line of women being "wanded". Harassment suit?

I hope it is something brand new and not bringing back SpectroMagic. I never saw SpectroMagic live only on video on Youtube and I love it and the music that goes along with it but they need something new.

Spectromagic won't come back as the floats were destroyed. It would be nice if they do have a new parade that they incorporate a bit of the Spectro music to the soundtrack like they incorporated Main Street Electrical themes into Paint the Night.

From listening to the Spectro music it is fantastic. i would love having pieces of that in a new parade.

I know they work, you didnt understand the real meaning of "just for show".
If you do not scan everyone, then its not real scanning, its just "for show". aka to make security visible. Yet im pretty sure that disney depends more on sourveillance than actual visible security.

Well, DL is getting MSE (according to the homepage). So WDW could likely get Paint the Night.

They said that since Disneyland will still show paint the night a few times a month.. they wont ship it to WDW.
This seems more of a cost cutting maneouver.
aka less time for paint the night and no night parade for WDW.

I have two identical pairs of shorts that I bought from Macy's, same brand, same color, and they have some zippers on the leg with some pockets.....I bought them about 2 months apart. Well, in Disneyland one pair set off the metal detector every time (and at the airport too), the other pair did not. I couldn't figure it out. I was going to mark the pair that set off the metal detector so I knew but I forgot. I guess if I go through a detector again wearing them I'll find out. In regards to your spoiler tag, that is why when I travel I wear one that doesn't have a wire, but I never thought about it at any other spot that had detectors.

Yeah the metal on thesis pets is probably different. You'd think that since the shorts are the same style they would have the same materials. But I suppose if they were made in different factories there could be different materials used.

not yet, both my aunt and I were very angry.
We made the order a week ago and they told us (to 3 different members of my family) that it would take 3 days for the product to arrive to my clinic.
that should have been this tuesday, but we called today (thursday) and nothing had arrived. We angrily called cochlear and the woman on the phone started to throw dumb excuses, and that we heard wrong (really???) about the order, and that it should take 3 weeks (bull..)
my aunt gave them a piece of her mind including to the supervisor.
They claimed they would try to ship it as fast they can but couldnt promise for it to arrive until monday... yet.. behold the effects of an angry grandmah!.. I just got the notification mere 5 minutes ago, that they shipped it already overnight.
So hopefully it will arrive on time tomorrow for my consultation.

5 minutes earlier than the shipping notification.

That is so sweet. Now after reading about how you still hang up the (passed away) dogs' stockings, I feel bad that I threw out my former dog's Christmas stocking. I guess it was just too much for me to see it anymore after that.

We all take loss, in different ways. Don't feel bad. We have our doggies collars and tags with their names on them. I haven't been able to take them and look at them after all these years.

X-Finitity is getting on my nerves. Everything, phones, T.V and computer all down this morning. Our signal breaks us several times a day too. It's funny, when you don't have these things...you realize how much we depend on these things.
