I still love the old cars. As I've said before sister, older than me, had an Oldsmobile 98, convertible. That was a fun fast car....we could get it up to 95 mph in no time. Foolish and lucky kids we were. This was on a two lane road.

Yep, that was one huge asphaltliner...!!!

That sounds delicious. Tonight, hubby is making pizza for us, and he does a good job at it. (We usually fend for ourselves on work nights; but once in a while, he gets a craving to make a pizza--and I'm more than happy to help him eat it!

I make our pizza, his half has real cheese, my half Daiya cheese. I love smelling his half.

Maybe its time to buy one of these cheap and gas efficient cars?

My car is the most gas efficient because it is a bike.

I am sorry. I love cheese so much.

Me too, I used to eat it. Not knowing what was killing my stomach and guts. Now, I don't do dairy at all. It's okay almond milk is really good, and they just brought a chocolate almond milk, out here.

We had to go into town so Subway was our dinner. It's too hot to cook.

I love the veggie subway sandwich, so good.

We had a Lincoln Towncar. Beautiful car. So comfy. Drove wonderful. All the bells and whistles. And that car cost a small fortune to repair anything and everything.

That was the car of my dreams.....in another life...

Great to go to the Indy 500, in the in field....we could see all the "action", cars, and whatnot!

Our last concert was in 2014. We have a tiki bar and such for tailgating. But the last couple of years we have been at WDW when he was in any cities that we are willing to drive to. Cincinnati was the farthest we've driven. Tailgating is always super fun, we meet a lot of cool people. I read that he is going to do even less concerts next year.

Yep, we'd (DWifey and myself were at the same Coconut Telegragh Tour concert way back when, but, didn't yet know each other ) love to go see him at least one more time, soon.
He is gettin' a bit up there (he'll be 70 on Christmas Day this year), though, so I can understand the reduced touring.
He's so blessed to have had/still has such an amazing career and life...!

I so agree about family dynamics. Sister has always been the bullying in the family. She ignored dad, bullied me, brother and Mom. It's now just me and sis.. she calls once in a while....I swore never to call when she kept bullying me for month's. I only answer her calls, when I feel strong enough to take them.

Just remember when you are talking to you sis if she starts in on you that the connection can always get "lost"!

Frisco Texas is usually one of his touring stops. I don't know where that is in relation to you, but it could be a nice get away for you and the wifey.

Cheap is a relative term. Up this way anyhow there are so many big pick-ups and SUVs, we like our 4x4's for the snow, getting hit in these small but gas efficient cars is a risk. I can't speak for the rest of the country and what size cars are on the roads on average though as I don't generally distance drive.

In January one of my oldest friends was T-boned by a snow plow, rolled his car on its side. He was in an ATS Cadillac, the paramedics told him he was fortunate to have so much steel around him as the plow was bigger than many cars.

Yeah, I get along with my Sis pretty well even though we are very very different, always have been. Likely if we lived closer to each other we'd really get under each others skins but 509 miles is a nice little buffer.
