Whatever the case, for the kid to die from a neck injury, you know that thing was not safe. And velcro harnesses? Of course they weren't working. Velcro only works so many times. Poor design. The park is not going to come out of this looking good.

Whoever was loading clearly was not trained properly. from not checking the Velcro, to not load the weight correctly..
There are tests videos that say there needs to be a minimum weight to launch that thing properly (and prevent it form going airborne).
Also if the front area had no working velcro, and the kid was infront and 2 women in the back.. that was NOT balanced at all!

I liked the job the live performers did, they were good. I was disappointed in the water screens, it was not windy the night we went and yet the images were blurry and cut off. Overall I think the show just needed a little more oomph and pizzazz. I think it might have benefited from bringing out some fur characters of Baloo and Louie out too, a combo of the live action & animated.

I don't know if this happened during your performance, but I also didn't like when they brought out the pontoons towards the end of the show to get the performers while the show was still going on. It was just strange. I'm still glad I saw it bu I really hope if they ever get Rivers of Life going that it is produced better than this.

Good Morning everyone! Another day of getting the DS ready to head to college. DD is doing a Hunger Games camp this week, and seems to be enjoying it. Horse riding tonight, and she is hoping they get to ride outside. And still trying to get everything ready for the UP trip. Two weeks until they are both at school, and I feel like I could use another month of summer.

@figmentfan423 I see you pop on here once in awhile. Hope you are having a crazy good time. You almost ended up with me on the couch. Flight out of here to MCO at $54 one way next week.:jawdrop: But, alas, I am being forced to stare at trees.

The Hunger Games Camp sounds like it would be awesome.
