I don't think daytime would be much of a problem, alligator wise! Nighttime... completely different concern.
Oh, I know. It woulda' been pretty hard not to see it comin', unless you had your back to the lagoon.

I also believe that they do most of their hunting at night. That's why they spend almost all of their day laying in the sun doing pretty much what I do in the course of a day. Nothing!Oh, I know. It woulda' been pretty hard not to see it comin', unless you had your back to the lagoon.
Feel free to send me any extra heat you have. I'm not going to be that lucky. The weather forecast for my city this week:

I hope it's not this hot all summer. I like warm weather and all but not quite this hot! I'd really appreciate some rain.
We're going to go this summer. My boys love Potter so we squeezed some time in thereUni is very fun, yes it is different from Disney but I definitely recommend you give it a try sometime.
Congrats!![]()

I make the sacrifice and have an extra one for herTo be so close to Margaritaville and not get a margarita, that is criminal!
Dusk is when they get busy. They're up there with cats in the lazy departmentI also believe that they do most of their hunting at night. That's why they spend almost all of their day laying in the sun doing pretty much what I do in the course of a day. Nothing!![]()

They're all great, but, for some reason, I really like the composition of the one with just the lizards head peeking at you!

Yep, I've read up on it...I just thought there might be a time of day when they are more likely to do that particular song. They change their sets every performance so people don't hear the same thing over and over if they watch more than one performance. But it would make sense to me to do that song with as large of an audience as possible, so perhaps more states are represented. Mid-day seems like the busiest time from what I've read, so that makes sense with what Betty said. So I'll try to be there early afternoon on at least one of the days. I'll just come back for several until they do that song. They perform daily in the afternoon. Sets are 45 minutes apart
Not dumb...it's an easy mistake to make, even for native speakers. You do really well! Don't be so hard on yourself!you're correct, what a dumb mistake from my part.
and yes, eluded.
I thought maybe I should tell you some of the mistakes I've made with Dutch...I asked for the broom and lightening. Dustpan = Blik. Lightning= bliksom.you're correct, what a dumb mistake from my part.
and yes, eluded.
I agree with this a thousand percent. I can't speak another language, let alone write in it. My brain can't function this way.Not dumb...it's an easy mistake to make, even for native speakers. You do really well! Don't be so hard on yourself!
So funny, thanks for the laugh of the day.I thought maybe I should tell you some of the mistakes I've made with Dutch...I asked for the broom and lightening. Dustpan = Blik. Lightning= bliksom.
I asked my husband's boss if I could go grocery shopping for him instead of take a message. It's the same word, but a different helping verb.
A friend of mine shouted out "STOP IT!" to a stranger instead of "Watch out!" One is "hou op" and the other is "pas op".
I was at a bingo night for my work and I was trying to keep up but numbers are backwards here for me....they say five and twenty instead of twenty five. So I was having a hard time, and I called out to ask what the last number was, only I asked "What was your last number", and I used the "small" version of number (kind of like the equivalent of adding a "y" to something. Well, I didn't know it until everyone started laughing, but apparently that means "When was your last one night stand?"
And, this is the really really really embarrassing one that I'm glad was not mine: My friend went to Germany with some colleagues for some business stuff. They all went their separate ways for lunch and she went and got a schnitzel. When she got back, her colleagues asked if she enjoyed her lunch. She replied that yes, she had had a delicious "schnikkel", which is a slang word for the male anatomy. They were all quite shocked.
So...I'd say "deluded" is a pretty minor mistake comparatively!
We saw two while on the monorail heading to EPCOT. Being that high from the ground I couldn't tell you how big they were.I've been to WDW only 8 times, but, have never seen an alligator on property, although there must be thousands on that 43-ish square mile property.
