Mayo in the US doesn't usually have a lemon taste, nor is it super salty. It is more creamy, although there are flavored mayonnaises.

That must be the issue. We do not have much variety and the only brands we have, are all salty with lemon flavour (McCormick is the leading brand).

Sounds more like Miracle Whip. Real mayo is mostly egg and oil. You'll have to take our word that it isn't part of the taste, just part of the texture.

Miracle Whip is very rare to find in here. And that is one of the weakest flavored mayos imho.

I like the orange slush. It's good, too!

I had half of one, that youngest DD couldn't finish, along with my Grey Goose Slushie back during out February trip. It was certainly tasty , but, coulda' used a bit more octane.

I am thinking back but I am pretty certain I've never tasted Bourbon. It is very rare for me to have an adult beverage with liquor but when I do and usually in Disney'cause they are yummy, my body seems to tolerate vodka better than other liquors. Why I have no idea.

I think I saw somewhere that vodka has less impurities than other liquors, and those impurities contribute to a hangover. If I remember correctly, it was a show on the History Channel several years ago.
They also talked about distillers experimenting to produce a vodka so absent of these impurities that it would be almost hangover free. Funny, I always thought the vast majority of a hangover was due to dehydration, and such. But, that's what they were talkin' about.
Haven't heard anything about "hangover-free" vodka recently.

Bourbon in the cake would be good too, once you mentioned that I remembered that I also use bourbon in a cookie recipe that I make at Christmas. They are really good cookies, it is actually a Martha Stewart recipe (Noel Nut Balls).

My pop has hunted and fished since he was a small boy, but, he has always loved to fish more. And I mean LOVE! He was just at the coast 3 weeks ago on another fishing trip. Brought back quite a haul, and I can personally attest that the redfish he prepared was very delicious...!

Very scary stuff. Many years ago DWifey had a lump in one of her brea sts. The wait from discovery 'til finding out (only a coupla' days) it was a fibroid cyst, and not cancer, was definitely not fun. So very glad to hear it turned out to be nothing! Drink up...!

It is scary as all heck. I had one the size of an egg when I was prego with my DD. They did a biopsy without antistatic since I was prego just novocaine, said it would just be uncomfortable. - uncomfortable my tooshie. A freak'n week to get the results. Not a good timeframe ever but horrid when you are prego. The odd thing is the cyst that it was found to be was totally gone after biopsy within a week.

Yea! So nice to see you back here!!! We missed you!

I miss you guys, too! Going to try to ketchup a little, but hopefully everyone is doing well or at least on the mend.

Other than having to continue dealing with Mr Donkey's antics, life has been pretty good. Still trying to get back on track with furnishing the house and other to-do items, plus continuing to work through the emotional stuff. I'm still seeing the guy I told you about before, and it's going well, which is one of the reasons why I haven't been on here as much lately.

Drinks on me tonight. I didn't say anything because I thought there was enough to worry about with kidney stones and bladder infections and everything else, but I found a lump in my breast Friday and I had a mammogram and an ultrasound today and all is clear. It was a swollen duct, but it's all normal, healthy tissue. So I'm celebrating.
