Probably. Once she heard us go through our nighttime routine, she probably believed it was us. There was no solution for this, though, having her boarded or stay with a friend probably would have been even more traumatic.

Thinking we are going to get a house sitter next vacation, either my uncle or one of my best friends who my parents trust completely. Both of them like the cat and are liked by the cat, so we're thinking maybe she would be less lonely.
I always hated leaving my dogs, I wondered if they felt abandoned.

If WDW ever gets a new electrical parade for the 50th in a few years. While also curious I'm also very worried seeing what the next WDW exclusive parade will be. Spectromagic is one of those parades along with Dreamlights in terms of nighttime parades which I consider a "Tough Act To Follow" because of how much effort was put in the floats and the soundtrack.

Love Spectro or not, I really miss the Spectromen at the start of the parade due to how entreating and fun they would have. They are also very misunderstood since the majority of visitors find them creepy and bizarre Disney characters. I used to get creeped out by them until I learned about there backstory to the parade according to one Disney website I stumbled upon last year. While I do enjoy PTN, I hope WDW won't get a parade like PTN filled with pop music. Heck Spectromagic and Wishes always felt perfect together since Jiminy hosted both of them but now that Spectro is gone. Wishes doesn't have much of an impact as it did when Spectromagic was still in WDW. I'm no complaining, but I hope WDW get's something extra special for the 50th.
I miss Spectro! And yes, it will be a hard act to follow.

Were you able to get everything you absolutely needed at least? We always have that on holidays here because things close down for the holiday, so a couple of days before that, every supermarket turns into a complete zoo and everything is sold out. Like people think that they are going to starve in the 2 days that the grocery store is down and they'll never be able to buy whipping cream ever again!!
Yup. There is now food in the house. There really wasn't before that grocery store trip.

I kept having to log in again and again. It was completely frustrating. I did Crystal Palace first, since I wanted the 8:00 slot. So I got that one and moved on to BOG. But it gave me a server error and I had to go back and log in again because it wouldn't go back to the "find a table" thing. So I log in, get through to the end, and it says "Congratulations! You have a reservation " yada yada...but the confirmation number field was empty. I had started an email to myself where I could just copy and paste all the confirmation numbers to print off so I would have both a paper and electronic copy. So, I thought it would have recorded the confirmation in My Disney Experience, since it said I had the reservation. I moved on to the next couple of reservations. I made about 3 and it kept giving me server errors again and when I had to log in, I decided to check on the ones I had in MDE and sure enough, BOG was missing, so I had to go back and do that one AGAIN. Akershus took me something like 8 tries....I finally moved on to 1900 Park fare, it kicked me out, I logged back in, got the reservation and then went back to Akershus and it FINALLY got me to the card confirmation. All in all, it took me an hour and a quarter to get all the ADRs done, but I got all the ones I wanted. We'll have to cancel one, as I made one for Whispering Canyon at 7:15 pm, which I thought was really late, but they didn't have any for 6...it said no times available, so I took the earliest one it gave me for dinner. So then when I finished, I was looking at it and thinking by the time we order and get our food, it's going to be REALLY late for the kids. But I read somewhere that you can't reserve within 2 hours of another reservation, so I went back and searched specifically for 5:00 and it gave me 5:15, which is way better, I think. So I have 2 for Whispering Canyon and I'll talk it over with hubby to decide which one we want to keep. Crazy!! I was already busy when the kids got home from school, so I'm sitting there frazzled and yelling at the screen when I got an error. DD came and sat by me and cheered every time one finally went through and gave us a confirmation number...the no confirmation number thing happened 3 times. So she's sitting there crossing her fingers and saying "Please work....please work..." and then when it did she'd shout "YES!!" DS, on the other hand sat at the food of the bed saying "This is taking so long....this is taking so long...this is taking so long"....pretty much chanting it. I finally sent him downstairs until I was done. Not the most fun experience of my life, but I survived, with all reservations in tact!
I really don't understand why it should be this difficult. But good for you and your perseverance! That is awesome that you got everything you wanted!

People here run to the grocery store before every major storm (be it snow or a hurricane) for bread, milk, and toiler paper, and those on wells also get water. And apparently with this storm, bananas.
