I kept having to log in again and again. It was completely frustrating. I did Crystal Palace first, since I wanted the 8:00 slot. So I got that one and moved on to BOG. But it gave me a server error and I had to go back and log in again because it wouldn't go back to the "find a table" thing. So I log in, get through to the end, and it says "Congratulations! You have a reservation " yada yada...but the confirmation number field was empty. I had started an email to myself where I could just copy and paste all the confirmation numbers to print off so I would have both a paper and electronic copy. So, I thought it would have recorded the confirmation in My Disney Experience, since it said I had the reservation. I moved on to the next couple of reservations. I made about 3 and it kept giving me server errors again and when I had to log in, I decided to check on the ones I had in MDE and sure enough, BOG was missing, so I had to go back and do that one AGAIN. Akershus took me something like 8 tries....I finally moved on to 1900 Park fare, it kicked me out, I logged back in, got the reservation and then went back to Akershus and it FINALLY got me to the card confirmation. All in all, it took me an hour and a quarter to get all the ADRs done, but I got all the ones I wanted. We'll have to cancel one, as I made one for Whispering Canyon at 7:15 pm, which I thought was really late, but they didn't have any for 6...it said no times available, so I took the earliest one it gave me for dinner. So then when I finished, I was looking at it and thinking by the time we order and get our food, it's going to be REALLY late for the kids. But I read somewhere that you can't reserve within 2 hours of another reservation, so I went back and searched specifically for 5:00 and it gave me 5:15, which is way better, I think. So I have 2 for Whispering Canyon and I'll talk it over with hubby to decide which one we want to keep. Crazy!! I was already busy when the kids got home from school, so I'm sitting there frazzled and yelling at the screen when I got an error. DD came and sat by me and cheered every time one finally went through and gave us a confirmation number...the no confirmation number thing happened 3 times. So she's sitting there crossing her fingers and saying "Please work....please work..." and then when it did she'd shout "YES!!" DS, on the other hand sat at the food of the bed saying "This is taking so long....this is taking so long...this is taking so long"....pretty much chanting it. I finally sent him downstairs until I was done. Not the most fun experience of my life, but I survived, with all reservations in tact!

So my dh wants to do something sneaky and have me think it's sweet. He says he'll duck out of the park grab a few groceries to get us through breakfast and drop them and the luggage in the condo and meet up with us before dinner. i say sneaky because he has a list of things he says I should do with the boys starting with SGE. I may duck out and catch the monorail or walk and grab a drink:D

I know hubby secretly wants to do some things like Tower of Terror that the kids and I won't do, but he's being stubborn and says he won't do anything by himself because it's a FAMILY trip and he doesn't want to do separate things. I may have to send him to do things while we do something I know he won't like.

I was wondering how you do that...I read that you can't make reservations within 2 hours of another reservation...but what do you do then if you can't get what you want right away and book something else just in case? You can't book another then at the same time, but you also can't just drop the one you have as a place holder because then that's gone and if you don't get the one you wanted, you'd have NOTHING. So how can you do that?

Check back and check Whispering Canyon again every so often one should open up. Congrats on everything else!

We don't do everything together. Last trip my dh and I wanted to stop in R&C Pub for a drink and sent the boys to do an Agent P mission, My one ds and I love TC and my other ds and my dh went to Germany. Even though it's a family trip we don't spend every minute together. The exception will be over at UNI for all things Potter LOL Yes I'll take a zillion pics for you.

I'm going to book Y&Y for the 2 nights we'll be in AK and if Tiffins opens up for ADRs I'll just switch one. As far as MM goes we'll book Fantasmic for the earliest time around 3 and book a dinner around 7

So she was pretty traumatized by the kitchen remodel. Now if I sit down, she appears. And she follows me around complaining.

She's also not a fan of the snow. The three feet of snow outside the door is blocking her favorite lookout spot. She put her paws on the window and meowed at me as if to say, "It's blocking my view; fix it."

Poor kitty. She probably thinks you owe her, as in...go out and shovel!;)

A couple years ago when we had so much snow and then it drifted upto 9 feet in areas around the house I had to eventually climb behind the bushes that were covered and blocked by the eaves and dig out the drift and scrape the snow off Walt's window. He sat there and looked at a solid white screen, then looked at me. That morning of the snow he had a 12 inch valley between 2 drifts to go out in, he did and got to the huge round picnic table and under there he did go..........

I believe that the picture @catmom46 posted is my favorite photo. I can almost pretend that one isn't staged. Walt didn't really allow for candid pictures. Most photo's from the Disneyland era and the concept of WDW were very posed. He was just as quirky as my shepherd.
