But DS doesn't even like most of the things on the kids menus...he won't eat mac and cheese or burgers and pizza is touch and go. He's never had corn dogs before, but I don't know if he'll even taste them. Not every place has chicken nuggets, which is the only thing I know he will eat. So we'll have to bring snacks just in case.

My boys save up before a Disney trip for their goodies. I also feed them a large breakfast every morning so we can eat lunch a bit later.

I had a really hard time my senior year of high school when he was already off to college. I missed him SOOOO much. We've grown apart now, but back in high school, I would have given almost anything to be let loose, just the 2 of us, in Disney. We'd have had a BLAST!!!

They're 8 years apart and have nothing in common except annoying me:bawling:

She was about 15 months old and riding a very small playschool foot powered car through the living room and I heard something that made me go see what he was up to. Got to livingroom to see her sitting still in the car then full blast for a tiny little thing methodically go and run her brother over with her car. I was stunned. My first thought was I wonder what he did to her.

The two of them love each other so much now and are closer than close. Funny how college does that. It was a long time coming though.

Aw....my brother and I are only 15 months apart. He was pretty awful when we were younger. One time, I was about 4 and he told me he wanted to show me a trick. He took my blanket and laid it on the floor and told me to stand on it, then he yanked it out from under me and I fell on the hard floor and hurt my arm. And then one time when we were probably 10 and 11, it was summer and I was riding my bike (that I had bought myself with my birthday and Christmas money) with my friend on our street. His bike had a flat tire and he came out begging me to let him ride my bike, but I was already riding and he was actually too big for my bike and he was not careful with things and I didn't want him to break my bike. My mom made me let him have a turn, with the understanding that when I wanted it back, he was to give it back right away. So after 15 minutes or so, I asked for it back and said it was my turn again and he refused to give it to me. So I said I was going to go get my mom and he took the bike and shoved it with the handle into my stomach as hard as he could and knocked the wind out of me. And another time, he took my bike out of the shed without asking because his was still broken and he brought it back with a flat tire. I still think he should have had to pay for the repairs. We just did NOT get along when we were younger!!

Morning Goinsey. We're good we have power, the boys got just about everything shoveled, our road crews did an excellent job. There was a lot of blowing and drifting so the boys will have to finish up a bit later. We lucked out it was pretty fluffy for the most part. The total looks like somewhere between 12 and 18 inches, more than expected up here and I can't give an exact figure due to the blowing.

THNX we're going to try all 4 sit downs in UNI. The boys want to try the great feast at 3 broomsticks! I hope they leave me an ear of corn as it's supposed to feed 4:rolleyes:

Oh...so is your oldest in college? Amazing how different they can be, right? My kids are total opposites as well, and it makes me wonder because they've had the same upbringing!! But DD is creative, patient, excessively positive/bubbly,empathetic, and a pretty good eater. DS is not at all patient, he's athletic where his sister hates all things sport related, he's pretty pessimistic, has no empathy yet, and is a terrible eater. He's REALLY smart though, and both kids do really well in school...that's about the only thing they have in common.

No he's autistic, he is verbal but not always. Mostly when his brother bothers him:mad::mad::mad:

My road is clear as I live on a "main" road. What a laugh it just means we have a couple of dozen cars go down our street on the way to someplace else. That and the school bus goes down it. I'm not sure if there is even going to be school tomorrow as the main roads are mostly clear but the back roads are still a mess and the schools seem to be the last to get done. The boys are not going to like having a snow day when they've already done all the shoveling
