$1.78 here yesterday. Between that and China, my retirement account is taking one hell of a beating and unlike people like Donald Trump... I don't have that much leeway to keep losing it or feel relieved when my broker says... "wait it out" it always comes back around.

Yep, lovin' the low gas prices, but, not the returns on the two family oil wells...double edged sword.

Best puppy awards pictures. Just like the Puppy bowl usually playing during the Super Bowl. Guess which show I watch!:joyfull:

I love the puppy bowl! I would rather watch that than the football game. I love when the puppies get a drink and they flip to the water cam, it is way to cute! It might be dangerous watching it this year, as I'm in the mood for a puppy.

I wonder if we have that out here. The news has made a lot out of people being taken and assaulted ! I have no knowledge about them, I suspect they are no worse than taxis. Hubby is afraid to use them, we will be doing Mears. With the high cost.:(

Are you talking about transport from the airport? Have you tried quicksilver limo, we used them when we went in November and I was pleased with their service, and it was a private transport. It is more expensive than Mears though.

Don't feel too sorry for me. Rain stopped at around 12 and it's been sunny ever since. We stayed at the hotel for the morning and then have been at DHS ever since and the weather has been beautiful. More rain on Sunday, but we can handle it. Back in August, we kept getting storned on and soaked, and the storms would last. We can handle this weather.

I actually slammed my finger in a car door when I was in middle school. Nail turned blue and a new nail grew underneath. I eventually lost the nail but had a fresh one that had grown halfway up. To cover the injury, I wore dark blue nail polish until the new nail appeared. No one ever questioned it.
but you're a girl! If I tried something like that. they would ask if I turned gay or emo in my late 30's :hilarious:

Woof!
Way behind, as per usual, but, hope it's all better now. :)
Hope your fingerprints aren't altered forever like mine. ;)
lol, you just reminded me of something that happened very constantly at UNI.
My mother lost most of her fingerprints for washing dishes all her life...
And the readers were struggling again and again and again to read her.
Funny, because Disney's were not that picky.. only failed 2-3 times compared to 10-20 at Uni.

It was kind of fustrating, because my mother is awful at Machinery and computer cues. She keep trying to pass the barrier when they told her to try again the finger print (aka red light, not green)

And here I am, the oldest of the remaining generation. I might as well have the word "NEXT" tattooed across my forehead. It took me a little while to come to terms with that thought. Of course, more stable people might have never had that thought to begin with.

the plunge might take a bit more.. since theres talk of Iran's oil entering again.
so Unless the US and China or Europe start to chunk a lot of oil.. and the OPEP cuts down their delivery of crude.. the oil might plunge so much it will get bankrupt many nations depending on the prices.

I'm trying to do my part, I'm still cruising around in my big ole 2005 Cadillac DeVille, but, it doesn't seem to be helping in anyway other then the fact that it costs me less then half of what it was a year ago to fill it up. That part is nice. It would be better if I drove more, but, I can't afford to do that now. Europe pretty much emptied my frivolous fund for quite a while or until the market revives.
