good point!, but you now got a nice shinny phone right?
btw, the thing I like about ubber is, you can see the people who drive (photos of them) and their scores.
The nice shiny phone part is wonderful! So much nicer than my old phone.

Yes, I know you can see their photo, but it still makes me wary. Cabs have cameras in the back. I prefer that.

I don't want to be a bearer of bad stuff and it's different for everyone, but, she had them often up until she was pregnant with our first born and didn't have them again until about 12 years after our second daughter was born. They were more intense at that point and harder to stop ultimately resulting in her passing out. At that point it was recommended that she have the surgery, she did and all has been fine since then, a total of over 20 years. She has had other problems, but, none heart related. Again, everyone is different and there's a good chance that you won't have it anymore since you probably won't get pregnant. :jawdrop::joyfull:

Yep, everyone's different, indeed... ;)

How 'bout it. Walt slipped and fell outside around midnight. He wouldn't come in. Then there is me, jammies, robe and rainboots trying to catch him to try and get him up the back stairs but he was scared. He kept running to the back of the property to avoid me. He'd come close when I'd go back in and he wanted in but not via stairs, like as if there was another way. Oy. Went on for about 45 minutes. I was awake again and a popsicle. Walt went out with me to shovel this morning but he wouldn't do the stairs again. My DD arrived as I was shoveling and opened the back door and said Hi to Walt. He was so excited to see her her ran up the stairs forgetting he was scared. Amen.

I shoveled for 2 hours in the wind but sun and was once again a human popsicle. Have yet to really warm up.

the assaults and stuff was on very little controlled environments as far I know.
There were assaults and rapes in ubber.. but on INDIA (a nation with widespread rape issues).
some robberies in other nations.. but thats not that unusual in normal taxis as well.
but I haven't heard much about USA.
We had two rapes in the last three month's. Hubby doesn't trust it. Me, I always go , what will be will be. Him not so much.

Well, returned from the medic. There is a new nail growing below the other, and the older nail is all dislodged... so its about time until it falls.
If it doesnt fall by next week.. my doctor will remove it to prevent an infection.
so.. I'm on my way to recovery! pheww!.
That happened to my thumb. New skin grew underneath the old fell off while taking a shower. All is good!

I actually slammed my finger in a car door when I was in middle school. Nail turned blue and a new nail grew underneath. I eventually lost the nail but had a fresh one that had grown halfway up. To cover the injury, I wore dark blue nail polish until the new nail appeared. No one ever questioned it.

More drama over here at the fun house. Appliances were scheduled to be delivered today, which I told Mr. Donkey, who said yesterday it was OK for the delivery people to move the ones he's taking into the garage. This morning he tells me to move my car because it may get scratched (while he's putting stuff into his van) and of course I get snarky with him. Seriously, though, why would my car possibly get scratched when our driveway is big enough to hold 3 cars across??? Because of that, he told me he would not allow the delivery people to touch "his" appliances (I had to point out they're still community property) for fear of them damaging them. Next thing I know he's saying he'll call the police if anyone touches him, he's recording the entire interaction with the delivery people, he's telling them we're in the middle of a divorce, and I know they're just thinking we're a couple of nut cases.

On top of that, now he's telling me that I will only have our daughter from Sat morning to Mon morning and he'll have her the rest of the time. Over my dead body!!!

Oh, and he may not be moving out this Sunday. Apparently that date wasn't actually the move date (even though his email says it is) - it's the date when he'll have all his "inside items" moved out. He won't be officially moved out until his "outside items" are moved as well. Isn't it lovely how he can just change his mind on a whim? :banghead:

Sympathy like. I really feel for you that he is being such a jerk face. I hope everything gets worked out with the appliances and the custody stuff. It seems strange that he is moving his inside items before the outside, if he is staying in the house until all things are gone wouldn't he need the inside items? o_O We really do need to have a big virtual party when this is all resolved. (Or if we are in Disney at the same time, maybe June, I will buy you a drink to celebrate!)

Families can be so complex. At my age, the earlier generation are all gone. We are next in line....
And here I am, the oldest of the remaining generation. I might as well have the word "NEXT" tattooed across my forehead. It took me a little while to come to terms with that thought. Of course, more stable people might have never had that thought to begin with.
Oh my.
It's as low as $1.50 a gallon here now. :cyclops:
$1.78 here yesterday. Between that and China, my retirement account is taking one hell of a beating and unlike people like Donald Trump... I don't have that much leeway to keep losing it or feel relieved when my broker says... "wait it out" it always comes back around.
