We're going to have fun this weekend my younger ds is going to tie dye some shirts for our trip. I just hope he doesn't dye our whole house. We still have to go over our ADR list. We never got to that but all the Christmas stuff is away.
I love tie dyed shirts, I've seen some at Rainforest. They had really pretty colors. I forget how to tie dye anymore. I remember using rubber bands, but that's about it.

So I bought a pair of Disney PJ's for myself for just lounging around. The shirt is fine but the pants are big...seeing how it's 100% cotton and doesn't say pre-shrunk, how would you shrink them? At least 3 - 6 inches.
pretty simple.. you go to Disney stores, and buy the expensive dinning plan.. chunk yourself with food!..
see your clothes "shrink" as you get chubby ;)

:( My dh laid down the law no more pets until we get back from vacation. Not so much as a goldfish.:(:(:( I almost broke that rule right before Christmas. While I was out for a walk the sweetest little and I mean very little puppy started following me. After about a block I was getting ready to call to have it picked up. The I started thinking i might bring it home put up a few signs and alert the local shelters and have it checked to see if it was chipped. After about another block some person came by looking for it. Asked if I saw a puppy who looked like mine. If the police hadn't driven by and said that person was looking for their puppy it would have come home with me to get sorted out later. i felt so sorry for the little baby.

Makes you happy though someone was looking for it.

I made a surprise out of my 1st Golden after my Shepard had passed away the month before. I announced one Saturday afternoon after coming home from work that I was driving down to the Western Suburbs adopting a 4 month old Golden the people couldn't care for. After the last Golden passed I too heard the laid down law till spring and it was February. Drove up to Wisconsin and came home with Walter. I've always been the constant, care giver, trainer, walker, feeder so Walt didn't impose any work etc on anyone besides me.

My X-wife had that. I can't tell you how many times we ended up in the ER. Many of them in Kissimmee! They finally discovered an additional nodule on her heart that was occasionally sending electrical signals for the heart to beat causing it to mesh with the legitimate nodules and thus elevating her heart rate. Her last episode involved her passing out at work.

She had surgery which involved running something into her artery cutting the nodule off her heart. It required no hospital time so we went in in the morning and left before lunch. She never had the problem again after that.

Yep, that sounds like the ablation surgery.
About 15-18 years ago, I went to see another cardiologist, other than my cardiologist, 'cause he would be the one to do the surgery if I wanted it, or they felt it was necessary. I wore a monitor for 2 weeks to see if they could record any events. Never had even the beginnings of one the whole time. As I've posted before, the events have since trailed off (knock on wood - my head ;) - my last event was about 8 years ago), so I've not pursued that type of treatment any further. :)

So I have had quite a day of some ups and downs...and I have to share because I'm still a little freaked out about the downs. So sorry if it is a little long. The day started with a phone call from school we had a two hour delay because of icy roads. This was a good thing for me, it meant getting a little extra sleep and getting some stuff done around the house. As I live only 2 blocks from the school I teach at I didn't have to worry about icy roads.

Once I get to school the kids are all crazy because it is Friday and we had the 2 hour delay. I was a little late getting into my classroom to start as I was chatting with our librarian in the hallway and I noticed our principal with one of our students at the students locker which was right across from the doorway of my classroom. I thought it was strange if this student was already in trouble as it was at the start of the day. About 45 minutes later in between the next two classes another teacher told me she saw that student being taken out of school with the police. Anyway, soon after that we found out that the student had brought a loaded gun to school. And turns out it wasn't the first time, he showed the gun to his friends and his friends did the right thing and told our principal. It is just really scary to think that a middle schooler would bring a gun to school and it was loaded (and cocked). If you don't remember I teach in a very rural district and we all have the feeling that something like a shooting would never happen here. Luckily the student didn't use the gun and it didn't go off accidentally. But it is still sickening to think of what could have happened. Hopefully that is the only brush I or anyone I know have with that situation.

So when I came home from school we booked our summer Disney trip, as I needed some joy and magic to hold on to today. :(

Yikes! Sympathy like. Scary Stuff!
Stay Safe...!!!

We still have a drive-in about five miles from me. $12 per carload and that's for TWO feature films, the same movies in theaters. Sometimes we load into my sister's van and when we basically are paying $2 a person. We pack a cooler and some camp chairs so when the kids fall asleep during the second movie we sit outside.

We pass one on our way to Houston to visit BIL, MIL, and niece.
When we went down to have Christmas with them the next weekend after Christmas, SWTFA was playing there that night.
I wanted to stay and see it there 'cause we hadn't seen it yet, and we haven't been to a drive-in in years, plus the kiddos never have.
It would have been PERFECT...!!! :joyfull: :)
But, we had to head back to Austin later that afternoon to take care of our pups.
