Happy Saturday! I have to go food shopping (2 supermarkets and the club store), get vitamins at the health food store (might grab me a few goodies:D) stop at the craft store, stop at the fabric store, take the boys to get each others presents, one of the boys needs to stop at the library, get the tree up so the boys can decorate it and start cooking dinner, that's my before 3pm list LOL I also promised them I'd watch Tomorrowland with them tonight:facepalm: The rest of the house can wait until tomorrow to get decorated! I wouldn't mind all the running around if the farm market was still open it's been 2 weeks and I'm really missing it now.

Sounds like a busy Saturday but all fun stuff.

We are making gingerbread people this morning, after the kids finish their Christmas movie. Then this afternoon we are going to the Board Game Day at church.

The kids went to a dance last night so everyone's a little slow getting started.

20 days until Christmas! :D

Speaking of employment....my boss sent out an email the other day saying staples and paper clips should not be in the copier  I thought everyone knew that but okay. So anyway, yesterday, the same girl who did it was trying to copy papers with staples in them (not the scanner, the actually copier).

HOW STUPID CAN YOU BE

in other news.. I'm between angry and in facepalm mod.
People are now blaming Mexico for the attack on California... I mean.. really? :banghead:

*edit*
time to take a break from online stuff.. going to get food.. bbl!

The thing that is weird about California is the media going through the shooters house like they own the place. Active crime scene or not....that's just wrong.

Sounds like a busy day. I'm finishing the rest of my holiday baking today. And then going to clean the house. I wasn't planning on the cleaning part, but hubby has been busy all week and now today so he can't do his chore and our house is a disaster.

I love Peace On Earth/Little Drummer Boy by David Bowie/Bing Crosby. I like almost all Christmas songs.

I like most Christmas songs too though I tend to be more selective with the artists. Some are amazing and others just butcher the heck out of them. Kinda like artists that sing the National Anthem. I tend to enjoy quicker, more upbeat tempos over the slow drawn out versions.

The overkill in the lyrics of pa-rum pum pum pum I find grating. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I just saw the pic on FB. Guess I need to wander over to Woodfield soon.
And, on thought #1, it seems everything has been settled with the locker room. Phew!

If you go to WoodField expect to wait a very long time. The line was short when I went and it still took forever. They trained their staff downtown however they don't have their act together yet. Saying they moved at turtle pace doesn't cover it. Plus unlike downtown you pay at the end which just seems to make it worse.

And on the other topic, it seems the board is backtracking now. I heard the reasons and as being a board member I have empathy for the backtracking given the more more more activists rallying behind the student want in addition. Like I said before the board room is the wrong venue for decisions like this but do realize it needs to be addressed. Should be Federal Legislation as it is the Feds ruling, a timeframe and funds to make construction for privacy for all those affected. Telling young girls to change under a beach towel was a ridiculous solution for a situation that will be the standard for locker rooms nationwide both in schools and other sectors. Just hate this is on the school boards shoulders to resolve. Talk about an undue burden.

I'm not a big decorator either, but put out "small touches" in a few spots, as you do. Our place is small, so less is more. For years now, I've had a really pretty Lenox Nativity set, that I always display on a side table in the livingroom. It's elegant and subtle.

I bet that Nativity Set is beautiful. After raising 2 kids in this home and stuff being everywhere and then adding a computer desk into the family room, a piano and countless other stuff when we bought new furniture there are very few flat spots, on purpose. Desk and piano gone, the less there is the less cluttered it looks. I like it.
