I've also enjoyed the balcony rooms (I don't always get them, but usually try to). They're really nice arounf 4:00 AM when no one is up, and you can sit outside in the dark with your coffee next to you on the little side table. It's also fun watching the very early a.m. crews out cleaning, and delivering linens, etc. in those golf carts. It's very peaceful outside in the early morning--my favorite time down there. :inlove: So glad you're enjoying the Swan!!
Hubby, SIL, and I all love being on the deck early and enjoying the sunrise. So peaceful, before the beginning of the day.

France was lit tonight in red white and blue. Such a shame.

@MOXOMUMD , each day I look forward to the Thanksgiving Day countdown pictures. I was thinking about you today in regard to Thanksgiving, and I recalled your experience last year. So this Thanksgiving, I wish you and your daughter a much happier holiday, and many more to come. :) And, don't forget to:

S.L.O.R.F.T. !!! :p (Save Lots of Room for Turkey!) :D
Thanks @MinnieM123! I will SLORFT! (I am behind here. A dear family friend had a house fire so things have been a little crazy the past few days.)

Robert Irvine works on my last nerve. I'm not a fan of his blunt as it is scripted to be demeaning. We all say things here and there that could have been crafted to be direct but nicer but generally it is off the cuff. Script is just that, meditated nasty. I find his bluntness more important to ratings than to being a concerned with the people he has decided to help. How they ever overcome and recover from what he exposes publically is beyond me.
I lost all respect for Robert Irvine after he lied so much. Knighted and given a castle by Queen Elizabeth--no, made Charles and Di's wedding cake--no, White House head chef--no.

B's happen. Unfortunately. I wouldn't worry about it. It's great to have A's as the standard, but honestly, because my dad has never accepted B's, I don't tell him anything about my school grades. Even in college, he doesn't ask and I don't tell (Mom is completely aware of my grades because she's calmer). I have a 3.8 GPA. He doesn't need to know the specifics. Self-motivated kids don't need too much parental intervention. Just encourage him to improve, be that raising it to an A or B+

FYI, my dad just walked in and asked why I wasn't doing my homework. I was (hence the textbook). "Turn the TV off; you can't do homework in front of the TV." I'm in college; if I want the TV on while doing homework (which I did all the time in high school), I think I can decide that for myself. The TV is still on.

@figmentfan423 wasnt upset about the grade but the lack of effort.
