Also there's no guarantee that they're truly hypoallergenic - it's just that they're lower in whatever most people are allergic to. So you could pay a bunch of money only to have to sell or give the kitty away.
pretty sure they give you the cat for testing before letting you purchase it.
just like they test you when you want to buy those genetical edited savannahs.

My professor's response to my pointing out the textbook's Disney errors

"Maybe they got the information from the annual report."

I went and looked at a few annual reports. Nada, of course. But he said he would look into it. I sent him a few links verifying what I was saying.
To be honest, a lot of teachers are kinda forced to accept what books say as stone set truth, even if its wrong.
Many forget that every release version has an errata of the prior versions.

I at minimum skim my Disney Annual Reports in recent years. Can't say that type of info is the focus of their annual reports. What kinda class is he a professor for?

Me, I use to love the old Annual Report. A book of what was coming in the Worlds of Disney, full of photos and concepts. The late 80s and 90s the annual report was fun to pluck out of the mail box, better than Christmas catalogs of yesteryear.

My goodness, Naples and then the ruins at Pompeii. Wow. I think the closest I got to any Italian culture today was the chicken parmesan sandwich in the cafeteria at work! (slab o' chicken, slab o' American cheese, and some genuine, Italian Ragu sauce, on a white bread bun!) :D

You are on quite the trip, I must say. This is far more than I imagined you had on your itinerary. I love the pictures.

Me too @Goofyernmost I am loving your real time report and photos. What an amazing trip.

My sister had miniature dachsunds that were allergic to a lot of dog foods. As treats they got carrots.

I had a golden that was allergic to all sorts of things, carpet cleaners, grass, dog food/treats. Oy. I fed her Oatmeal, some chicken breast for protein and animal crackers for treats. It worked for her and lived till she was 14. Good long life.

I need a dog so badly, they always kept me warm. My best camping buddy, Freddy, always slept in my sleeping bag with me! And at my feet at home, I miss him , as all my doggies a lot! Wiggles, did the same. When you want a warm loving buddy, get a dog or puppy. I've wanted a kitty, but hubby, as I have said before, had them as a child....and is allergic to them. I've always had a doggie, and haven't tested allergies for a while. Maybe, being pet less, and donating is the best way to go. We love donating for homeless and no kill shelters. I do have an inanimate doggie, I named lucky. I felt so lucky getting him. I tell him good morning every day. Okay, I'm officially a crazy old woman!:rolleyes: just kidding, but keep the doggie and kitty pics and video's coming, they make my day!

Look into doggies that have a low allergy rating and then consider fostering a doggie. It is short term until they can be placed and a good low risk way of testing how you will react to them. If one doesn't work you can try a few more breeds. In the meanwhile you'd be doing something kind for a pup looking for a permanent home.

And the same goes for dogs. Same procedures as you outlined. There are breeds that fling far more allergens than others. Mix breeds are always a risk. The best dog I've come across for people with allergies to dogs is the Chesapeake Retriever. Their coat is a bit wavy and has more natural oils and they tend not to throw dander or their undercoat. It is that undercoat with both cat and dogs and dander that often is the trigger.

Yesss buy the candy...buy the candy... :D

Today I bought 50 bags of cheetos, 50 bags of m & m mini cookies, 180 Twizzlers long sticks and 50 minion fruit roll ups. It is a long trick or treat span, double the time normally because it is a Saturday however it is to rain. I bought stuff I could donate or my DD would eat if trick or treat is a wash out.
