That's interesting. Why can't they be used with new windows? (No rush to answer, considering I only clean windows about once a year . . . :hilarious: I'll never win the Good Housekeeping Award . . . :p ) Actually, I'm not sure exactly what kind of windows are here. I think the landlord replaced all the windows about 12 years ago, so I don't know if windows back there are the "newer" kind or not.
Yeah not all windows just cause they are new are UV protected.

Okay, I have to admit I had my first serving of kale today with my other veggies. Not a fan, yet. It seems so much better raw. Will keep eating it, that's the way Brussels Sprouts started for me. Now they are one of my favorites!

I've loved Brussels sprouts from day one.
Then again, I've always been known as the one son that ate everything mom ever put on a plate...! ;) :)

@MOXOMUMD , are you feeling a little bit better today? I know it's going to take a number of days to get back to feeling well, but I was hoping that maybe you got some good sleep last night. Sleep can help. :)
I'm feeling better. My daughter took the old bandages off today because it was itching and smelly. :hungover: Letting air out. The scab is as big as a silver dollar and I was told it'll eventually fall off. (gag gag that's so gross!)

I love this, I'm going to see if there is a DVD of pedaling around different cities or countries. That would be fun. So far, I've watched the cooking channel and a couple movies. I can see that getting really old , after time.

I had a stationary bike at one time. I should have bought a better one, it continued to have issues and eventually it went the way of a landfill.

My kids really did enjoy the pedaling, my DD had to sit in her Dads lap, she was too small to reach the pedals. I've seen better videos of the YouTube I posted but it was fun to look at the old version of the castle and all the pretty pretty trees. I did get a hoot out of all the people scattering to get out of the way, too fun.

2 news.. one good and the other bad..

the bad.. Patricia is now the strongest hurricane ever on recorded story, with wind guts of 400Km/h
Thats Tornado territory.
sustained of 200Mph(320Km/h). It surpassed both Trip and Wilma as strongest wind speed wise..
even stronger in barometric pressure than Wilma (880 vs 882)

The good: It seems to be turning right into the mountain range. Which means we will get torrential rain, but very little winds.
As the mountain range will protect us. Weather channel is reporting a 100% probability of 47mph winds in my area. these things are not 100% confirmed in my experience. As we've had another strong hurricane enter the back of the mountain range and do zero wind damage in my town.

Our neighbourns are already walling the windows with wood.
I'm going to use the beds to reinforce them if things go bad.

Rick Bayless is quite known for his authentic Mexican cuisine. He has multiple restaurant, cookbooks, Food products, and a show on TV. His food is really good. It would be interesting if you ever eat at his restaurant to hear your perspective on how authentic it is.

I like how his menus rotate about every month or so. I love fish but frankly being out in the midwest all I see even offered even at better restaruants is Salmon or Tilapia. Just about every TS restaurant at Disney when you go looking for fish it is that dang salmon. He always has a unique offering too. Suckling Pig, Duck and the last time there was GOAT. Don't see goat on the menu very often.
